Význam videoobsahu v českém internetovém zpravodajství má i téměř po dvou dekádách své existence neustále rostoucí tendenci, mediální domy vytváří a stále rozšiřují speciální videotýmy a investují do vybavení potřebného k vlastní tvorbě. Zpravodajské servery kladou značný důraz na produkci vlastního audiovizuálního obsahu, který se stal jejich běžnou, dnes už dokonce příjemcem požadovanou součástí. Práce přináší komplexní popis a zhodnocení videoobsahu tří velkých českých zpravodajských serverů. Jsou jimi iDnes.cz, Novinky.cz a Aktuálně.cz. Popisuje procesy, techniky a nástroje využívané v rámci videožurnalismu a výsledkem je přehled současné videotvorby těchto tří zpravodajských webů a vhled do významu videa pro české online zpravodajství. Praktická část čerpá z případové studie vybraných webů, která se zaměřuje na jednotlivá redakční prostředí a jejich běžnou praxi. Zahrnuje kvantitativní obsahovou analýzu, která odpovídá na výzkumnou otázku: "Jaká je aktuální podoba videoobsahu na zpravodajských serverech iDnes.cz, Novinky.cz a Aktuálně.cz?" Analýza je doplněna o rozhovory s experty z oboru a vlastní zkušenosti z praxe. Rozhovory se pomocí okruhů otázek navazujících na teoretickou část věnovaly chodu videoredakcí, strategii týmů, práci se zdroji, formáty videí, jejich sledovanost a úspěšnost nebo na... The importance of video content in Czech internet news has been steadily rising for almost two decades, media houses are creating and expanding separate video-making departments and investing in equipment needed for their creations. News websites place considerable emphasis on the production of their own audiovisual content, which has become so common that the reader has come to expect it. The work brings a comprehensive description and evaluation of the video content of three major Czech news sites: iDnes.cz, Novinky.cz and Aktuálně.cz. It describes the processes, techniques and tools used in video journalism and gives an overview of the video production of these three news sites and insight into the relevance of video for Czech online news. The practical part draws on a case study of the selected websites, which focuses on the individual editorial environment and their common practice. It includes a quantitative content analysis that answers the research question: "What is the current form of video content on news sites iDnes.cz, Novinky.cz and Aktuálně.cz?" The analysis is accompanied by interviews with experts from the field and my own experience.
