Tématem práce je moravská větev rodu Žerotínů v první polovině 16. století z hlediska jejich sporů, jak v rodině, tak také s ostatními šlechtici a institucemi. Hlavním pramenem práce jsou Knihy půhonné a nálezové cúdy olomoucké z let 1505-1522, uložené v Moravském zemském archivu v Brně a také edice moravských zemských desek olomouckých Františka Matějka pro léta 1479-1567 objasňující především majetkové poměry zúčastněných. První kapitola se zabývá dějinami starojičínského panství a města Nového Jičína do roku 1500, tedy do doby, kdy se stali Žerotínové majiteli panství. Nastiňuje též stručně dějiny rodu, které jsou zasazeny do kontextu politických dějin druhé poloviny 15. století. Dále je obsahem práce pasáž věnovaná moravskému zemskému soudnictví v 16. století a obecně vývoji soudní soustavy v Čechách a na Moravě. Zaměřuje se především na praxi pohánění, druhy půhonů a průběh soudního řízení u moravského zemského soudu. Ve třetí kapitole se dostávám k jádru práce: žerotínským sporům. Ty jsou seřazeny z hlediska osobního i věcného, předně se zabývám spory v rámci rodiny a příbuzných rodů. Následující část má za úkol popsat obecně šlechtu v první polovině 16. století. Zaměřuji se na otázky získávání majetku, dluhy a v neposlední řadě na kulturu sporů a jejich klasifikaci. Součástí práce je i... This thesis is dedicated to the Moravian branch of the Zierotin family in the first half of the 16th century, especially their litigations in family and also with other aristocrats and institutions. I used mainly Knihy půhonné a nálezové, written in between 1505 and 1522 stored in Moravský zemský archiv in Brno and the collected edition of The Moravian Land registers for years 1479-1567. They helped me describe property issues of participated families. The first chapter of this thesis is concerned with the history of Starý Jičín estate and Nový Jičín town until 1500. Also, it outlines brief history of the Zierotin Family, which is described in the context of history of Czech Land and lifestory and career of Jan starší z Žerotína. Then, this work includes customary law of the Moravian region in 16th century and generally evolution of the court system in Bohemia and Moravia. It focuses on practising of litigations, kinds of litigations and lawsuit. The most vital part of the thesis is third chapter, which are Zierotin's litigations. First, I describe litigations among family members and relatives. Next part is focused on aristocracy in the first half of the 16th century.
