Bakalářská práce se zabývá budoucností katalogizační profese. Výzkum zjišťuje možný vývoj katalogizace a pozice katalogizátora v českém knihovnictví. Je stručně představena pracovní pozice katalogizátora, dále je nastíněn vývoj katalogizace v minulosti na mezinárodní a české úrovni. Na základě rešerše je popsána situace katalogizační práce a její budoucnosti v zahraničí. Výzkum probíhal v podobě kvalitativních strukturovaných rozhovorů s českými odborníky v oboru knihovnictví. Závěr práce je věnován shrnutí zjištěných informací z rešerše a rozhovorů, zodpovězení definovaných výzkumných otázek a představení subjektivní vize vývoje katalogizace. The bachelor thesis deals with the future of cataloger profession. The research investigates possible development of cataloging and position of the cataloger in the Czech librarianship. It briefly presents the position of cataloger and it outlines the development of cataloging on an international and Czech level in the past. The situation of cataloging work and its future abroad is based on the retrieval. The research was realised in the form of qualitative structured interviews with Czech professionals in the librarianship field. The conclusion of this thesis is dedicated to the summery of the found information, it answers the defined reasearch questions and presents subjective vision of cataloging development.
