Byl učiněn stručný přehled praktického využití genetiky v oblastech: identifikace linií, druhů a hybridů, využití genomické informace v chovných programech a selekčních procedurách, sex determinace, vyhledávání významných QTL. There was made a short survey of practical utilization of genetics in the following spheres: identification of lineages, species and hybrids, utilization of genomic information in breeding programs and selection procedures, sex determination, searching for important QTLs.
