Cílem práce je zkoumání nejdůležitějších přínosů, které mezinárodní muzeum franchising přináší, odhalení problémů s ním spojených a stanovení podmínek, které jsou nutné dodržet, aby proces zakládání a následný provoz nového muzea byl trvale udržitelný a neohrozil již stávající instituce. Součástí práce je analýza již zavedených franchisových sítí muzeí Solomon R. Guggenheima a Louvre, na základě které, jsou výše popsané cíle zjišťovány. Dílčími cíli práce je určení znaků muzeí, pro která je zavedení strategie mezinárodního franchisingu vhodná a stanovení podmínek, které musí být splněny, aby pobočka muzea mohla hrát roli v revitalizaci regionu s ohledem na to, že se může jednat o jeden z možných přínosů zavedení pobočky The aim of the thesis is to analyze the most important benefits of the international museum franchising, detection of problems associated with it and the conditions that are necessary the process of setting up and subsequent operation of the new museum was sustainable and not put into risk already existing institutions. The thesis contains an analysis of established franchising network of Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Louvre, based on which the objectives above-described are determinated. The objectives of the thesis are also to identify the features of the museums for which the establishment of an international franchise strategy is appropriate and to determinate the conditions that must be accomplished for the museum branch to play the role in urban regeneration, considering that this may be one of the possible benefits of establishing a branch.
