Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje zejména na oblast self-service Business Intelligence (SS BI) jako na jeden z nejvýznamnějších trendů světa BI. Práce ovšem popisuje další důležité aktuální trendy v této oblasti, poskytuje čtenáři nutný přehled o obecné architektuře BI nástroje a také za pomoci studií analytických společností definuje hlavní znaky, podle kterých se dá nástroj BI zařadit do kategorie self-service. Jedním z cílů této práce je analýza trhu se samoobslužnými analytickými nástroji. Pro dosažení nejobjektivnějšího výsledku byly použity dvě různé studie od známých analytických společností. Bakalářská práce je rozvržena tak, že úvodní část zahrnuje vymezení tématu a důvody výběru tématu, stanovuje cíle a popisuje metody, které umožňují tyto cíle naplnit. Mimo jiné do úvodní části patří rešerše odborné literatury vztahující se k tématu této práce a také struktura, existující předpoklady i omezení bakalářské práce. V dalším bloku je stanoven teoretický základ, nutný k dosažení stanovených cílů. Obsahuje kapitoly popisující pojem BI a jeho komponenty, charakterizuje SS BI, uvádí výhody a nevýhody tohoto přístupu. Po definování všech důležitých pojmů jsou popsané dnešní trendy BI. Poslední blok má za úkol zanalyzovat světový trh se samoobslužnými analytickými nástroji BI. Následně jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky provedené analýzy a stanovují se závěry celé práce. This Bachelor Thesis is focused on Self-Service Business Intelligence (SSBI) as one of the most important trends in the world of Business Intelligence (BI). The work also describes other important trends in this area, provides readers with the overview of the general architecture of BI and defines the main features by which the BI tool can be classified as a self-service category using reports of analytical companies. One of the aims of this thesis is to analyze the market with self-service analytical tools. Two different studies from well-known analysts were used to achieve the most objective result. The bachelor thesis is structured so that the introduction includes the definition and the reason for the selection of the topic, sets the objectives and describes the methods that allow these goals to be fulfilled. Among other things, the introduction includes the review of professional literature related to the topic of this thesis, as well as the description of the structure, existing assumptions and limitations of the bachelor thesis. Another block includes theoretical background which is necessary to achieve the goals set. It contains chapters describing the concept of BI and its components, characterizing SSBI, and discloses the advantages and disadvantages of this approach. After defining all the important concepts, the thesis discusses today's BI trends. The last block analyzes the world market with self-service BI analytics tools. Subsequently, the results of the analysis are evaluated and the conclusions of the whole work are determined.
