V bakalářské práci se autor zaměří na vliv Spojených států amerických při poválečném vývoji západního Německa v letech 1945-1950. Konkrétně v období od konce druhé světové války do prvních měsíců po vyhlášení západoněmeckého státu. Cílem autora bude zjistit, jaký vliv měla americká zahraniční politika, která se začala v průběhu sledovaného období proměňovat, na řešení otázky hospodářské obnovy a poválečného uspořádání Německa. Autor vychází ze stanoviska Franklina D. Roosevelta, který odmítl zapojení USA do hospodářské obnovy Evropy a pobyt amerických jednotek v Evropě delší než dva roky. V následujících letech ale Spojené státy začaly od této politiky ustupovat a nastavovat nový kurz zahraniční politiky. Tato změna byla spojena s tím, že se USA začaly významným způsobem nejenom v Německu angažovat. Po úvodu budou nastíněny představy Spojených států o poválečném uspořádání světa, teorie izolacionismu a koncept "čtyř četníků" prezidenta Roosevelta. Hlavní pozornost bude věnována otázce Německa v letech 1945-1947 a americkému přístupu k této otázce na Postupimské konferenci a na jednáních Rady ministrů zahraničí. V další části bude sledován vývoj v západních okupačních zónách směřující ke vzniku západoněmeckého státu v květnu 1949 se zaměřením na měnovou reformu a Marshallův plán s hledáním významu... In this bachelor thesis the author focus on the influence of the United States of America on the post-war development of Germany between 1945 and 1950. Concretely in the time from the end of the World War II till the first months after establishing the state of Western Germany. The main goal of this thesis is to find, how the US-American foreign policy, that has started to change in this period, affected the resolving of the question of post-war Germany. The Author proceed from the stance of Franklin D. Roosevelt, who refused the engagement of the U.S. in the post-war economic development of Europe, and who stated, that the U.S. Army will leave the European territory until two years after the end of the WWII. But in the following years the U.S. started to leave this policy to set a new course, which was connected with evolvement of the United States in Europe and western parts of Germany. After the introduction, there will be introduced the American ideas of the post-war world structure, the theory of isolationism and Delano's the concept of "Four Policemen". The main part of the thesis will consist of the question of Germany between years 1945-7 at the Potsdam Conference and at the Council of Foreign Ministers.
