Analýza klientů vybraných domovů pro seniory v Praze a v Jihočeském kraji z hlediska vybraných demografických charakteristik Abstrakt Cílem práce je za prvé zjistit a porovnat počty lůžek v domovech pro seniory na území hlavního města Prahy a v Jihočeském kraji, za druhé charakterizovat klienty v domovech pro seniory podle věku, pohlaví a rodinného stavu a za třetí provést analýzu přežívání klientů vybraných domovů pro seniory. Ke zjištění počtu lůžek byl využit Registr poskytovatelů sociálních služeb, který provozuje Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí České republiky, porovnání počtu lůžek bylo provedeno za pomoci indexu dostupnosti a normativů vybavenosti. K charakteristikám klientů v domovech pro seniory byla použita popisná demografická analýza a v případě věku komparace s reálnou populací v příslušném kraji. Analýza přežívání byla zpracována za pomoci Kaplan-Meierovy metody. Provedeným výzkumem analýzy přežívání bylo zjištěno, že s rostoucí kapacitou domovů pro seniory neklesá kvalita poskytovaných služeb, ba naopak, ve většině případů jsou služby natolik kvalitní, že se v těchto zařízeních klienti dožívají průměrně vyššího věku. Z normativů vybavenosti plynou jednoznačné rozdíly ve vybavenosti mezi Jihočeským krajem a hlavním městem Prahou. Zatímco v Jihočeském kraji by - při původním návrhu... The Analysis of Clients of Selected Retirement Homes in Prague and in South-Bohemian Region in terms of Selected Demographic Characteristics Abstract The aim of the work is firstly to ascertain and compare the number of beds in retirement houses in the area of capital city Prague and in the South-Bohemian Region, secondly to characterize the clients in retirement houses according to their age, sex and marital status and thirdly to carry out the mortality analysis of clients in selected retirement houses. The Register of Social Service Providers, which is operated by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, was used to find out the number of beds. To characterize the clients in retirement houses the descriptive demographic analysis was utilized and in the case of age it was the comparison with real population in corresponding region. The mortality analysis was worked out with the help of Kaplan-Meier method. Through the conducted research of mortality analysis it was find out that the quality of provided services does not decline with the higher capacity in retirement houses, even more the services are so quality that the clients in those retirement houses reach on the average higher age.
