[cze][eng] Tématem bakalářské práce je život, činnost a dílo českého knihovníka Josefa Pocha. V jejím úvodu je představen Pochův život a práce obecně. Dvě kapitoly jsou zaměřené na jeho působení na Podbrdsku. Pojednávají o jeho aktivitách v tomto regionu v oblasti knihovnické, kulturní a lidově výchovné. Dále o jeho působení v Městské knihovně v Berouně, jejíž historie a vývoj je zde také popsán. Kulturní a společenský život v regionu je zde zobrazen na pozadí Pochovy činnosti. Poslední kapitola představuje Pochovo dílo a jeho vliv na české knihovnictví. Ucelený obraz je shrnut v závěru.(anglicky) The topic of this bachelor thesis is the life, activity and work of the Czech librarian Josef Poch. The introduction presents Poch's life and work in general. Two chapters describe his work in the region Podbrdsko. His activities are mentioned in areas of librarianship, culture and adult education in this region. The third chapter is about Poch's work in the Town library in Beroun, whose history and development are also depicted here. Cultural and social life in the region is shown in the background of Poch's work. The last chapter reveals Poch's literary work and his influence in the Czech librarianship. Complete work is summarized in conclusion.
