Klimatická krize je nebezpečná pro celou planetu. Lidské činnosti způsobují nárůst skleníkových plynů v ovzduší. Skleníkový efekt se zvyšuje a následkem roste globální teplota atmosféry. Toto může způsobit mnohé problémy lidstvu i zbytku planety. Je velká pravděpodobnost, že ubydou zásoby potravin, pitné vody a zvýší se počty epidemií v důsledku oteplování. V budoucnu některé pobřežní oblasti zmizí pod mořskou hladinou. Tohle jsou jen některé z následků globálního oteplování. Můžeme říci, že globální oteplování existuje, neboť to potvrdil Mezivládní panel pro klimatickou změnu ve své čtvrté hodnotící zprávě. Jako odpověď mnohé státy přijímají opatření v souladu s Rámcovou úmluvou z Ria a Kjótským protokolem, aby zredukovali produkci skleníkových plynů. V Protokolu bylo formulováno, že státy přílohy I musí zredukovat své emise o 5% oproti stavu z roku 1990 v prvním redukčním období 2008-2012, EU o 8%. Protokol také vyžaduje stanovení nového závazku pro další období po roce 2012. Každopádně závazek přijatý v Protokolu nestačí pro zmírnění klimatické změny ve smyslu jejího podstatného omezení. V poslední době existují tendence k vytvoření nového dokumentu, který by nahradil protokol z Kjóta. Tento dokument měl přijmout serióznější závazek ke snížení skleníkových plynů. Nicméně dosud nebyl přijat. Zklamala... The crisis of the climate is really very dangerous for the whole planet. The human activities cause that the production of carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gasses is increasing. The greenhouse effect in the atmosphere is increasing, and as a result, the global temperature is rising. This can cause several problems to the humanity as well as to the rest of the planet. There is a high probability that there will be less food, sweet water, more epidemics because of rising temperatures. Some coastal parts of the earth will disappear under the seawater in the future. These are just some of the consequences of the climate change caused by human activities. We can say that the global warming exists and that the human activity according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fourth Assessment Report is the reason. As the response to the climate change many countries are implementing the requirements formulated at the Summit in Rio de Janeiro 1992 in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and in the Protocol of Kyoto for reduce the production of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere.
