Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zjistit problematické oblasti v souvislosti sluchového postižení u dětí mladšího školního věku a rozvoje čtenářství, na základě zjištěných informací navrhnout metodický materiál a ověřit jej v praxi. Metodický materiál obsahuje text Já Baryk od Františka Nepila v originále a v upravené verzi, návrh postupu pro vyučující a pracovní list. Nejdůležitější částí metodického materiálu je CD s úvodním slovem, upraveným textem a slovníčkem ve znakovém jazyce. Ověření v praxi u dětí pátého ročníku ZŠ ukázalo nutnost vytvoření dalších podobných materiálů, jelikož znakový jazyk nejen umožňuje porozumění dějové linii a souvislostem vyplývajících z příběhu, ale je především účinným prostředkem vedoucím ke čtení v českém jazyce. This diploma work is aimed at relation between hearing impairment at the age of primary school children and their development of reading. On the base of the found information I tried to project some kind of methodical material for teaching how to read with comprehension and then to verify it in practice. This methodical material includes the text called Me Baryk (Já Baryk) written by František Nepil in both - the original, and the one after the modification, instruction for a teacher how to work with it and a worksheet. The most important part of methodical material is a CD with Introduction, Modified text and Vocabulary translated into sign language. Verifying in practice was realized with children with hearing impairment from the fifth grade of primary school and the necessity of continuation in making further and similar materials like this was stressed. By means of the sign language the children can understand the meaning of the text, comprehend the line of the plot and the context of the story. Using the sign language is some kind of an effective bridge how to motivate and lead the children with hearing impairment to read in Czech.
