V České republice probíhají od začátku 90. let kurzy snižování nadváhy s aplikací KBT, které v rámci společnosti STOB provozuje PhDr. Iva Málková. Dle dostupných informací nebyl do současné doby proveden výzkum, který by v těchto kurzech mapoval vliv vybraných výše uvedených kognitivních faktorů na změnu tělesné hmotnosti a současně by monitoroval také změnu příjmu energie (behaviorální faktor). Cílem této studie je ověřit vztah mezi vybranými kognitivními faktory (vlastní účinnost - obecná a vztažená k jídelnímu chování a fyzické aktivitě; sebehodnocení; osobní příčinná orientace; restriktivní způsob jídelního chování) a změnou tělesné hmotnosti. Zároveň se u respondentek budou sledovat změny energetického příjmu během terapie. Součástí studie je také ověření reliability české verze použitých dotazníků WEL (Weight Efficacy Life-Style Questionnaire), PSQ (Physical Self-efficacy Questionnaire) a rozšířené škály restriktivního způsobu chování ve vztahu k jídlu, která vychází z dotazníku TFEQ (Three Factor Eating Questionnaire). The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between selected cognitive factors (self-efficacy - and with respect to the general dining behavior and physical activity, self-esteem, personal causal orientation restrictive way of eating behavior) and changes in body weight. At the same time the respondents will track changes in energy intakeduring therapy. The study is to verify the reliability of the Czech version of the WELquestionnaire (Weight Efficacy Life-Style Questionnaire), PSQ (Physical Self-Efficacy Questionnaire) and extended range of restrictive behaviors related to food, based on a questionnaire TFEQ (Three Factor Eating Questionnaire).
