Práce se věnuje ekonomickým reformám v Československu a v Německé demokratické republice v 60. letech 20. století a jejich dopadu na hospodářský, politický i sociální vývoj společnosti. První část práce je zaměřena na Československo a základní předpoklady a teoretické základy reforem až po tzv. Šikovu reformu, která byla ukončena v roce 1968. V druhé části jsou pak reformní snahy v NDR přímo srovnávány s reformami v Československu a jejich celkovým dopadem na budoucí vývoj obou socialistických států. Závěr práce pak hodnotí přínos reforem a jejich uskutečnění v praxi. This thesis dealt with economic reforms in Czechoslovakia and the German Democratic Republic in the 60s of the 20th century and their impact on economic, political and social development of society. The first part is focused on Czechoslovakia and assumptions and principles of reforms, finished with the so-called Šiks reform, which was canceled in 1968. In the second part of the thesis are the reform efforts in the GDR compared directly with the reforms in Czechoslovakia and their overall impact on future development of the two socialist states. Finally, the work evaluates contribution of the reforms and possibility of their implementation in practice.
