Byla vyšetřována souvislost mezi chováním sluneční a geomagnetické aktivity a chováním větrných polí dolní troposféry severní polokoule v průběhu zimních období let 1964, 1967-1969, 1971-2001. Souvislost byla analyzována prostřednictvím kompozitních map větrných polí. Ukázalo se, že tyto mapy, v nichž jsou obě aktivity současně nízké nebo vysoké, vykazují největší vzájemné rozdíly. The magnitude and prevailing direction of winds in the lower troposphere were analysed in the Northern hemisphere in the winter periods of the years 1964, 1967-1969, 1971-2001. Composite maps of those winds showed marked differences, in particular between the maps in which both activities were simultaneously low or high.
