V tomto příspěvku budeme vycházet z měřených délek letorostů vinné révy. Data pocházejí z městečka Köszeg v západním Maďarsku nedaleko rakouských hranic, kde maďarská nížina přechází v kopcovitý terén. Lengths of new grapewine sprouts measured in Köszeg, Hungary, since 1740, exhibit a good correlation with the average temperatures in April, even better for temperatures squared. There is also a weak correlation with the relative air humidity, and no correlation with solar activity.
