Práce popisuje mechanismy, pomocí nichž lze vysvětlit souvislost mezi krátkodobými změnami sluneční/geomagnetické aktivity a krátkodobými změnami tlakových a teplotních polí dolní atmosféry. Zvláštní pozornost byly věnována roli planetárních vln, elektrostatických polí a různých fází QBO, The mechanisms in the paper described were based on the ideas enabling to explain the observed associations between the short-term changes in solar/geomagnetic activity and short-term changes in the lower atmosphere pressure and temperature fields. Special attention was devoted to the role of planetary waves, electrostatic fields and various phases of the QBO.
