Following thesis on opera ensemble of South Bohemian Theatre should bring comparison between current repertory system, potential so-called semi-stagione (this mode is thought to be set after transformation of this opera ensemble) and stagione mode that is typical for running opera production abroad.
The main aim of the thesis is to analyse these models and evaluate them regarding economic, artistic and organizational point of view.
Although it is focused on South Bohemian Theatre in Ceske Budejovice, there are more opera ensembles in regions facing the same problem and asking the same question: which would be the most effective model of running our business?
