Cílem práce je analyzovat současného postavení LCA na celosvětovém trhu letecké dopravy se zaměřením na nízkorozpočtové společnosti v Evropě. Práce charakterizuje dopravu jako takovou, specifikuje leteckou přepravu a v neposlední řadě se zabývá nízkonákladovými leteckými společnostmi. Současné postavení LCC je znázorněno například jejich podílem na trhu z globálního hlediska a také i z pohledu evropského regionu. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current position of LCA in the global aviation market with a focus on low-fares in the Europe.The thesis defines traffic, especially air transport and low-cost carriers. The current position is shown for example by their share in the air market from a global perspective and also from the perspective of the European region.
