Abstract: Morphology of epidermis Carassius gibelio and Cyprinus carpio shows specific differences in dependence on both sexual activity (reduction epidermal thickness in spawning period) and given species (epidermal thickness and prevalance of single types of secretory cells). Epidermis of hybrids shows similar seasonal changes as parental species, its structure was similar to epidermis of C. carpio.
