Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je zanalyzovat dosavadní vývoj podniku v odvětví cestovního ruchu a zaměřit se na hrozby a rizika podnikání v tomto oboru. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na oblast cestovního ruchu a hotelnictví a současně podává obecné informace o krizovém managementu, především o krizové připravenosti a odolnosti podniku. Zároveň charakterizuje metody analýzy, které lze využít k tomu, aby byl daný podnik schopen docílit větší připravenosti a odolnosti vůči jakékoliv krizi. V praktické části pak popisuje zkoumaný hotel Krystal a pomocí SWOT analýzy a dalších tří metod odhaluje hrozby, které jsou v současnosti pro hotel aktuální. Z výsledků provedených analýz v závěru vyplývá, že si hotel doposud v oblasti krizového managementu nevede špatně. I přesto jsem se však pokusila vypracovat návrhy a doporučení, které by mohly stávající krizovou odolnost a připravenost daného hotelu zvýšit. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse actual development of company in tourist trade sector and focus on threats and risks of business in this field. The theoretical part is focused on the tourist trade area and at the same time it reports common information about crisis management. It also defines methods of analysis, which can be used in order to achieve better immunity and preparedness of company against any criris. Afterwards in practical part the thesis describes surveyed hotel Krystal and with the help of SWOT analysis and another three methods discloses threats, which are actual for the hotel. From results of all analysis follows that the hotel is going strong in crisis management field. Despite it I tried to draw up some proposals and recommendations, which can level the current crisis immunity and preparedness of the hotel up.
