Brazílie, Rusko, Indie, Čína a Jihoafrická republika (BRICS) jsou považovány za klíčové země v otázce vývoje světového hospodářství. Jejich pokrizová ekonomická situace se vyvíjí příznivěji než v současných světových centrech. Otázkou však zůstává dlouhodobá udržitelnost tohoto růstu, která je podmíněna společnou spoluprací zemí při řešení politických, obchodních a investičních problematik. Práce se proto zabývá společnými rysy zemí v těchto oblastech, které by vedly k jednotné spolupráci při řešení jejich aktuálního vývoje a budoucího postavení ve světové ekonomice. Práce je strukturována do tří kapitol z výše zmíněných oblastí, které nám dají objektivní pohledy na současné postavení BRICS a definují společné rysy a zájmy pro jednotnou spolupráci k udržení jejich vývoje. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) are identified as key countries on the development of the world economy. The post-crisis economic situation evolves in those countries favorably than in the current world centers. The question remains, however, the long-term sustainability of this growth, which is subject to joint cooperation by countries in addressing political, trade and investment issues. The thesis, therefore, addresses the common features in these areas leading to a coherent cooperation in solving their current development and future positioning in the world economy. The thesis is structured in three chapters of the above-mentioned areas, which give us an objective view of the current position of BRICS and define common characteristics and interests of a unified collaboration to sustain their development.
