Abstract: In all samples of fireworks, K+, Na+, Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions were proved and quantified by the method of capillary zone electrophoresis using water solution of 10 mM 4-aminopyridine, titrated with hydroxyisobutyric acid to the pH 4.3, as background electrolyte and indirect UV-absorption detection at 200 nm. Pb2+ or Ba2+ ions were proved in few samples. The other selected inorganic cations were not proved in any sample of selected fireworks. NH4+ ions were not detected in any pre-blast samples, but they were established in some post-blast (glazed tiles) samples.
