Práce je zaměřena na ovlivnění filmové a video produkce v souvislosti s příchodem nových médií. Cílem práce je zmapovat, jak nová média ovlivnily distribuci filmové a video produkce v závislosti na jejich využití na trhu. Práce definuje základní pojmy a zaměření nových médií. Charakterizuje rozdílnost pojmu stará a nová média, v čem jsou jejich odlišnosti, specifika a do jaké míry změnily filmové a video distribuční kanály.Vytváří ucelený výčet a porovnání existujících poskytovatelů Video on demand služeb. Na základě zvolených kritérií specifikuje a posléze porovnává nejrozšířenější servery umožňující video hosting. Práce zahrnuje i další zdroje, jenž napomáhají šíření filmu či videa a která se vytvořila až s příchodem tzv. Webu 2.0. Z důvodu častého střetnutí autorského zákona v souvislosti s nelegální distribucí, zejména v oblasti filmu, je i tato tématika zahrnuta do obsahu. The work is focused on the influence of movie and video production in connection with the new media. It is focused to map how the new media influenced the distribution of movie and video production, depending on their use on the market. The work defines the basic concepts and direction of new media. Characterizes the divergence of terms like old and new media, what are their differences, specifics and how they change film and video distribution channels. It creates complete list and comparison of existing providers of video on demand services. It brings up specified criteria and on base of them compares the most popular video hosting sites. The work includes and specify other channels, which facilitate the spread of film or video and was build up by Web 2.0. Because of the frequent encounters of the Copyright Act in connection with the illegal distribution, especially in the film, this theme is also included in the content.
