V bakalářské práci bych chtěla analyzovat účinnost a efektivnost dosavadní rozvojové pomoci chudým zemím (se zaměřením na Afriku), dále zhodnotit výsledky politiky Mezinárodního měnového fondu a Světové banky a jak velký podíl mají na kritické situaci v těchto zemích. Dále bych se věnovala popření teorie "bludného kruhu chudoby" a nastínění možného řešení pro Afriku v boji proti chudobě -- v podobě mikroúvěrů. Chtěla bych poukázat na fakt, že pod spojením "rozvojová pomoc" se skrývá naprosto zavádějící, ale i velmi mocný pojem.Zavádějící, protože nejde o pomoc dobrovolnou a podle dosavadních výsledků už vůbec ne o pomoc účinnou. Spíše negativní, a to popírá samotný význam slova pomoc. A mocný pojem vzhledem k otázce, komu tedy rozvojová pomoc ve skutečnosti pomáhá, když ne obyvatelům rozvojových zemí, pro které je určena? A proč místo hledání jiné cesty v boji proti chudobě se vydávají stále dokola tak ohromné sumy peněz , i když historie dokazuje,že takováto pomoc má negativní dopady na ekonomiky rozvojových zemí a ve skutečnosti více škodí než pomáhá. In my baccalaureate thesis I would like to analyze the effeciency of existing develompent assistance to the poor countries (based on Africa). I will evaluate the results of the policy of The International Monetary Fund and World Bank, and review their contribution to the critical situation in these countries. I will also address the denying of the theory of the "vicious circle of poverty" and outlining a possible solution for Africa helping it to fight the poverty -- in the form of microcredits. I would like to emphasize the fact that "develompent assistance " might be a misleading yet powerful term. It is misleading because it is not a voluntary assistance, and according to the latest results it is not even an effective assistance. It is more negative and this negates the meaning of the word " assistance ". It is powerful with respect to a question to whom exactly this "development assistance " helps -- if it is not to the people of developing countries for whom it is intended? And why instead of searching for another way to fight the poverty immense amounts of money are spent although the history proves that this kind of help has negative influence to the economies of developing countries and in reality it harms more than it helps.
