3D print for the development of learning tool in the field of Informatics

The subject of the diploma thesis is the creation of a robotic tool for the development of algorithmic thinking for pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school and corresponding grades of multi-year grammar schools. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, digital technologies using 3D visualization and their application in the school environment are introduced. A greater emphasis is placed on the description of 3D printing technologies. After the introduction of digital technologies, the possibilities of implementing 3D printing and modeling in the teaching of selected subjects are analyzed within the framework of the RVP ZV revision. This is followed by a list of applications dealing with 3D modeling suitable for selected target groups of pupils. The practical part provides a guide for assembling the robot and drafts of worksheets with ten algorithmic tasks, including solutions for educators. Also included are materials containing rules for building algorithms in the selected programming environment. This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of material teaching aids in the field of Mechanical Electrical Engineer - Information Technology. The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of the available didactic teaching aids and material re-sources for teaching in vocational training and to describe the possibilities of fi-nancing teaching resources for schools. The thesis consists of four chapters, which focus on introduction to the field, didactic teaching aids, material resources and financing. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the results of the teaching framework in the field of Mechanical Electrical Engineer - Information Technology.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issues in the field of 3D printing technology. This thesis consists of two main parts, the theoretical part and practical. The theoretical part is focused on 3D printing technology. It deals with the proces and analysis of used materials. Consistenly is focused for functional use of printing in specified industries including its application in the field of design. The practical part consists of the description and realization of a functional prototype. This is preceded by the preparation of a research and it is related with issues to design sketches of screen. This is followed by the steps of designing, making a 3D model, visualisation and production of the model.

This thesis covers the entire process of designing and manufacturing a functional model of a chair printed on a 3D printer. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes a brief history of seating furniture, ergonomics, safety requirements and a summary of 3D printing technology. The second, practical part, covers the whole design and manufacturing process including the used material. Custom sketches, variations of design, visualizations, production photos and final photos of the model are included. The final output of the thesis is a functional model in 1:1 scale.

This theses describes creation and fabrication of a custom guitar stand in a prototype phase with lamellar element used in its frame. The main aim was to create a functional product that can be used both as a place for musical instrument and also as an interesting interior or stage element. Author describes early phases of development, problems detected on early shapes of the guitar stand and their alterations during fabrication up to the final design. The final solution was wooden construction with lamellar element which was supplemented with 3D-printed supports.

The aim of the thesis is to introduce to the topic of 3D printing, milk components and their mutual connection. It explains individual technologies from the most common to the less well-known. Furthermore, the thesis deals with a review of current studies on this topic and their conclusions, progresses and complications. It focuses on individual components of milk, such as casein, micellar casein concentrate, milk protein concentrate, whey proteins and lactose, which have potential in 3D food printing. The thesis aims to provide a review of the information needed to understand 3D printing as it is used in other industries, as well as to understand the complexity of food 3D printing with a focus on milk. The main contribution of the work consists in providing comprehensible information and in the summarization of the indicated paths where 3D printing of milk has gone. Alternatively, it also reveals gaps that can be addressed and thus move development forward.

Sugars are one of the most common ingredients in food industry, due to their diverse usage as technological component as well as sweetening element. The issue of sugar utilization is not only topic of food industry but plays a key role in human nutrition at the same time. The intake of simple sugars from food, particularly from sweetened beverages, is a major concern from a nutritional standpoint. Carbohydrates can be detected in variety of ways. A literature review was conducted on the methods used in food science, which is based on the previous characterization of the most frequently used sugars in food industry like sucrose, maltose, glucose, fructose, inverted sugar, and glucose-fructose syrup. The chemical, technological and nutritional properties of carbohydrates were described. Considering this examination, 3D printed electrodes were designed for detection of sugar, namely glucose, in beverages. In consideration of the available literature, electrochemical enzymatic biosensors were designed, using glucose oxidase as the sensing element to detect glucose in beverages. The electrodes, carrying the enzyme, were printed from PLA and graphene based conductive filaments. The electrodes were activated in chemical and electrochemical way. To bind the enzyme, a technique based on cross-linking and immobilization was used. Chronoamperometry and cyclic voltammetry were used to test the biosensor. Afterwards the real sample of a fruit juice-based non-alcoholic beverage was examined. The results were interpreted in the context of the applicable legislation of the European Union and, likewise, the legislation of the Czech Republic, in regard to the required data on food labels.

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis, design, construction and optimization of a special furnace for heat treatment and testing of products manufactured by additive 3D printing technology. The first part of the thesis deals with a literature search of currently available industrial and DYI solutions. Based on the conducted research, a custom solution is proposed based on DIY (Do It Yourself) reflow oven projects, which are mainly used in the electronics sector for industrial soldering of components. The control of the furnace is implemented using ESP32 microcontroller and FreeRTOS operating system. All the necessary mechanical components were modelled in SolidWorks software and then manufactured either by 3D printing or conventional machining methods. The work also includes an oven control system that runs on the mentioned microcontroller, runing in access point mode and can therefore be remotely connected to it. The described control system also allows for the creation of custom predefined temperature profiles that can be reused. The proposed solution was subsequently tested with satisfactory results.

The aim of this thesis is to summarize information about 3D printing technology and its pos-sible applications in the food industry. Furthermore, the thesis includes information on cheese substitutes bearing the collective name of cheese analogues, for which their types, production processes and properties are described. The most important part of the thesis deals with the connection of these two sectors, thus the use of 3D printing technology in the production of cheese analogues. Their properties and behaviour during 3D printing, their sensory properties and the possibilities of modification to achieve better results are de-scribed. Optimization of 3D printer software would be needed for better production and test-ing of 3D printed cheese analogues. Of the 3D printing methods, due to its applicability in the food industry, material extrusion is the most promising method, whereas the continual material jetting has proven to be unsuitable for food applications. Cheese analogues created using 3D printing technology were rated across studies as having good consistency and cohe-siveness. Furthermore, the use of surfactant biopolymers was found to promote product sta-bility and prevent phase separation of the initially heterogeneous mixture.

This thesis deals with examination of the building of a the high school in Nový Jičín. The development of the building and the circumstaces surrounding its creation were described. The roof of the building was inspected, and its malfunctions and defects observed were recorded in the drawing documentation. The carpentry joints were described. Part of this work is a guide for the succesful creation of a 3D model of building using two different 3D printing methods. In this thesis, several representations were created and compared against real images. The resulting visualization and virtual tours have been uploaded to the websites.
