The usage and the influence of anglicisms in the German journalism

This bachelor thesis treats the topic of the influence of the English language on the German language. It explores which English terms are regularly used in everyday life. The thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the development of the German language regarding the English lexicon and the international lexicon. The practical part explores the word meaning of each English expression, its usage, linguistic characterization, and categorisation. The list of anglicisms contents different areas - for example the words used in journalism. The aim of the thesis is to prove that German and English are closely interconnected. The issue of error in the written discourse of Russian speakers (an analysis of the Czech texts)

In our diploma thesis we deal with mistakes in written discourse of Russian speakers. We are trying to explore the mistakes of Russian speakers on the materials of the Czech language and create several lingvodidactic recommendations about how to interpret the topic and how to prevent mistakes. We indtroduce a plentifully used communicative method for teaching foreign languagues and discribe four basic language skills. Typology of mistakes made by Russian-speaking foreign students in written communication

The bachelor thesis deals with the typology of interference errors of students, whose native language is Russian, and analyses the texts of respondents who have achieved B1and B2 level according to the CEFR which are available online in MERLIN corpus. After a brief introduction to the issue of interlingual interference and an overview of the selected differences between Czech and Russian, which are the source of interference errors, the results of the error analysis are presented. Errors are divided into categories and classified by the frequency of occurrence, and statistical data are compared between B1 and B2 level respectively.
Written communication and teaching of the czech language for foreigners

In her thesis the author looks at written communication in teaching Czech for foreigners. The theoretical part gives an account of theoretical foundations, such as synchronic and diachronic approaches to the language situation (worldwide, in Europe and especially in the Czech Republic) and language education, including introduction to communicative methods. Furthermore, the author describes individual component parts of the language education (means of expression and communication skills), with a focus on written communication. The analytical part analyses language-teaching methods of written communication in textbooks of Czech for foreigners. The last language-teaching methodological part is more practical, which the author offers specific recommendations for teaching written communication in Czech language for foreigners. Aspects and Instruments of Courtesy in Communication in Swedish and Czech

The aim of the dissertation is to examine the approach to politeness in Swedish and in Czech and to compare its features in both languages. In the theoretical part there are presented the most influential approaches to politeness. The next two chapters focus on practical examples. In the first of these there are summarized linguistic means which are used to express politeness in Czech, and they are compared with Swedish. The second one deals with several specific speech acts, in which courtesy applies. The different ways of expressing politeness in Czech and Swedish are described on the base of the literature and also on my own questionnaire. Not only the spoken but also the written form of the communication is ranged in the dissertation. The Market Research of The Written Communication Courses

The principal theme of this work is the courses of written communication. The theoretical part mainly focuses on the business plan and the market research. The practical part describes the evolution of internet communication and continues with a business plan which comprises the concept of courses of written communication. Based on the market research, the goal of the work is to find out whether the chosen focus group would be interested in this kind of courses. The market research consists of the secondary and primary research. The primary quantitative research served as a tool to update the secondary data. As a qualitative research the author used the individual in-depth interviews. The work concludes by evaluating the results of the market research and serves as a recommendation for managers of educational institutions.
