Intervention program focused on dry preparation for figures in synchronized swimming
VOJTOVÁ, Martina
The topic of my bachelor tesis is to compile and to verify the effectiveness of an interventional movement program focused on dry preparation in synchronized swimming. The program is intended for young synchronized swimming competitors at the age of 8 to 9 years and its purpose is to improve joint mobility and strengthen the muscles of the lower limbs. The first part of the thesis is focused on the description of synchronized swimming, including the history, rules and definition of sports performance. Further information includes the opinions on children's sports preparation and on the development of the children's flexibility during sensitive period. The practical part is focused on the created intervention movement program. This part of thesis evalute the flexibility of lower limbs of the group of female competitors of the swimming club TJ Tábor. Selected test methods were implemented partial measurement which results were obtained enabling the evalution of the effectiveness of the chosen three-month intervention movement program. The mobility testing methods used in this thesis were deep forward bend while standing on an elevated surface, frontal and lateral split. The chosen methods use distance measurements. During the first measurement of deep forward bend we measured an average value of 3.71 cm and in the final mesurement this value was 6.14 cm. The measurement of lateral split was performed on both limbs and its input and output values showed improvement in most of the girls in the experimental group. The frontal split measurement showed a difference of 1.28 cm between the input and output average value. The testing results showed an improvement in joint flexibility and a reduction in shortening in the muscle of the lower limbs in the majority of girls involved in testing.

Vlasáková, Marie ; Čechovská, Irena (advisor) ; Peslová, Eva (referee)
Title: Motivation to increase the synchronized swimming coach qualification Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out what motivational factors could lead the Czech synchronized swimming coaches to improve their qualifications. Results: Interest in synchronized swimming and the need of the coaches' home clubs was the main motivational factor of the III. class coaches. Main motivational factor of II. class coaches was interest in this sport. The motive of the I. class coaches was mainly their own ambitions. Motivational factors for coaches who themselves want to further improve their qualifications are more diverse. These in particular are personal growth, interest in sports, achieving a higher level of expertise, and the possibility of better training the athletes. There are only a few motivational factors to change the opinion of coaches when they are reluctant to improve their qualifications. These include higher financial remuneration, and improvement of the level and availability of professional education. More than half of all participants, specifically 51.35%, said that their decision not to get a higher...

Ludvíková, Adéla ; Hošková, Blanka (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
Title: Compensatory exercise in synchronized swimming Aims: The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the effect of movement intervention on compensating the deviations in the posture related to muscle imbalance and to influence the feeling of muscular tension of the back muscles in the girls of synchronized swimming TJ Tábor. Methods: The diploma thesis is elaborated by the form of qualitative research with elements of quantitative research. The experiment was attended by eight probes with deviations in the posture. A physical intervention in the form of compensatory exercise was introduced to influence the muscular dysbalance in the fuselage region. The research was conducted from October 2016 to May 2017. The research methods consisted of the examination of aspects using a plumb line in the sagittal and frontal plane. Depending on the subjective sensation, probands marked the muscular tension of the back muscles on the modified VAS. Results: The obtained data were processed by the statistical method (relative analysis). The results showed a positive effect on the body's position in the sagittal and frontal plane. Interventions also positively influenced subjective feelings of muscle tension. Keywords: synchronized swimming, posture, compensatory exercise, muscle tension, VAS modification

Koubková, Natálie ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Stupková, Michaela (referee)
Title: Rating postural stability in synchronized swimming Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to detect, with a use of the system Gaitview ® AFA - 50 systém (Foot Scanner), if synchronized swimming has effect on postural stability of synchronized swimmers. Methods: Therotical part of diploma thesis is about synchronized swimming, influence of the aquatic environment, postural stability, stabilization and balance. A sample of 113 female athletes aged 6-35, who were long term synchronized swimmers at competition level, was chosen for this survey. Postural stability of athletes was tested while standing still with open and closed eyes by Gaitview ® AFA-50 system (Foot Scanner). Measured data were processed through Gaitview software, Microsoft Excel 2010 and anaylzed by statistical methods (average percentage, ratio, linear trend). Results: Results confirmed the effect of synchronized swimming on athletes postural stability. The longer are athletes dedicated to synchronized swimming the better is postural stability. From the age of 15 years and after 9 years of experience in synchronized swimming postural stability was shown to be better without access to visual information than with it. In the youngest category there is the biggest difference in postural stability while standing still with...

Ludvíková, Adéla ; Vařeková, Jitka (advisor) ; Nováková, Pavlína (referee)
Title: The effect of sports massage on delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) observed on junior synchronized swimmers Aims: The aim of this work was to determine the effect of sports massage on DOMS after training units focused on developing the strength of the lower limbs by girls junior synchronized swimming category of TJ Tabor team and preferred options of regeneration. Methods: Design quasiexperiment was chosen as a type of research for the preparation of this work. There was researched the effect of sports massage on DOMS on three synchronized swimmers aged 16 - 17 years. This researched sample went through the massage of legs after adapted training units. There were used anamnesis questionnaire, Likert scale and a structured interview as data collection methods. Results: The research proved the real sports massage effect on DOMS. Using a Likert scale girls evaluated DOMS with the use of sports massage. All three synchronized swimmers evaluated the massage positively, they appreciated the massage of the entire lower extremity as the best. The structured interview showed, that the synchronized swimmers would appreciate an active regeneration in the form of sports massage as a part of their training units.
