Web Portal for Network Traffic Anotation
Málik, Peter ; Tobola, Jiří (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis aim is to create a system for network traffic anotation. For this purpose it is necessary to correctly determine the protocols for all layers of the network model TCP/IP. To identify the application layer protocol is used a method based on port numbers and a method based on tracing the signatures in packet´s data field by using regular expressions. Web portal was written in PHP, using the extension phpcap and tcpdump program, which provides manual anotation of network traffic.
International Alphabets in Network Traffic Monitoring
Talašová, Irena ; Vrána, Roman (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This work deals with the implementation of support for network identifiers containing national characters in the SProbe software project, which is designed to monitor network flows. It was necessary to test and evaluate the status of selected network applications working over SMTP, POP3, IMAP, FTP or SIP protocols. On the basis of the information obtained, an extension of the current software project SProbe was proposed - a module to support network traffic monitoring with national alphabet characters. The proposed solution was then implemented and the functionality of the entire resulting system was tested. In addition, this work proposes and implements a modification of the test environment for faster and more efficient testing of the system focusing on tests containing diacritics.
Web Portal for Network Traffic Reporting
Zapletal, Petr ; Straka, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of web portal with reports about network traffic. This system is designed for easy network monitoring with transparent charts a tables. To obtain statistics from network traffic, NetFlow technology, which is the key part of system, is used. Portal is platform independent and is built around HTML and PHP technologies. Portal also allows export proccessed data through periodic email service or files in PDF format.
Mathematical modelling of HTTP network traffic
Miklica, Jan ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to capture network tradic on the HTTP protocol. Then from the captured tradic to analyze parameters using selected models and compare them with the achal properties of real network traffic. This bachelor´s thesis describes the HTTP protokol and mathematical modeling, and simulation models developed for it. The document described the capture of data tradic on HTTP using Wireshark. In the next part are performed elemental analysis of selected models. In conclusion the analysis results of the selected models are described.
Web Portal for Network Traffic Reporting
Lízal, Miroslav ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on development of a web portal, which provides information about network traffic. It describes available technologies, which can be used for the network monitoring. It puts emphasis especially on NeTFlow. This paper also descirebs the whole development cycle from analysis to implementation and testing. The outcome of this work is a online system, based on PHP language and PostgreSQL database, which creates reports on the network traffic and makes them accessible via WWW. It is also able to save these reports to a PDF file.
Web Portal for Network Traffic Reporting
Klement, Ondřej ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor thesis is an proposal, analysis and implementation of the web portal for network traffic reporting. This work also deals with analysis of creating  graphs, tables and statistics from data gained by NetFlow technology. The NetFlow technology itself is the key element in this thesis and this work is based on it. The main goal of this thesis is to make a simple tool for monitoring and analyzing the network traffic by generating complex reports. For the implementation itself, PHP and HTML have been chosen. Reports will be generated as well-know PDF documents.
Detection of anomalies in data center network traffic
Korzhasbayeva, Leila ; Uher, Václav (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Detection and Analysis of P2P Network BitTorrent Sync
Kutlák, Martin ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on issues with detection of the P2P network BitTorrent Sync in network traffic. In the theoretical part of this work is introduced architecture of the P2P networks, BitTorrent Sync protocol and possible methods for P2P network detection. On the base of this knowledge is designed tool for detection of BitTorrent Sync network traffic. In the practical part of this thesis is presented implementation of the whole monitoring system. In the end of practical part are presented results of conducted tests with monitoring system.
Mathematical Analysis of Captured Network Traffic
Soós, Tibor ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is considering with network traffic analysis and prediction of real networks default services. The first part of this paper is containing the theoretical explanation of the mathematical model’s needs. These models are mainly used as a part of simulation algorithms which are describing the processes of network traffic simulations. The second part is describing the process how to apply the models to mathematically analyze the captured traffic. The capture is including all kind of packet types which can appear on the real network. At the last part of the thesis is described the detailed design of the prediction algorithm’s which are developed in programing language of Matlab® Mathworks®.
Communication of USB3.0 Chip with FPGA
Špeťko, Matej ; Viktorin, Jan (referee) ; Košař, Vlastimil (advisor)
SEC6NET is an abbreviation for project Modern tools for detection and mitigation of cyber criminality on the New Generation Internet. Project is focused on research and development of means for monitoring and analysing the network flow. Probes for monitoring IPv6 networks are developed within this project. Probes are using hardware acceleration based on FPGA platform. My thesis connects two technologies: FPGA and USB. The goal is to transfer data from the FPGA microchip to PC using Cypress EZ-USB FX3 microcontroller. The first part is focused on transferring data from FPGA to FX3 microcontroller. Second part describes the modification of FX3 firmware for getting maximum throughput. The last part focuses on implementing PC application for Linux operating system. The application receives data from the probe and saves them into hard drive using PCAP format.
