This bachelor thesis deals with the project of proposal for a new paint shop. Thesis includes identification of project’s purpose, target and outputs. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the projetct as a whole, its phases, project management and explanation of all related concepts. The thesis then describes and analyzes the current state of the company, indluding the current way of varnishing of material. According to the results of previous analysis a project of a new paint shop is proposed.

The practical part focuses on the business plan of the establishment of poultry farm and mainly on its creation and there is also the analysis of possible funding from the EU Structural Funds.

The Use of Methods of the Project Management in Company

The thesis deals with application of project management methods in a company. The proposed project focuses on introduction of an interactive menu in the U Koníčka hotel and restaurant. The introductory part of the thesis contains the theoretical base of project management followed by analysis of the existing situation in the chosen business entity. Pre-project study with a proposal for effective elimination of found drawbacks is the output of the thesis.

Financing of Development Project

The bachelor´s thesis is focused on financing a development project. The first part of the work is devoted to the theoretical basis in which the concepts related to the development project are embedded. Furthermore, the theory is devoted to the sources of financing development projects, risks and economic indicators related to the evaluation of investments. Another part of the work focuses on the characteristics of the development project, which describes the company, the development project and the expected methods of financing and project risks. The characteristics also include the results of economic indicators, which express the financial advantage of the mentioned sources of financing. The last part of the thesis contains a proposal for the measures of the described risks as well as scenarios of increasing and decreasing the PRIBOR rate and the effect of these changes on the selection of a suitable source of financing for the described development project.

The thesis should give practical information and advice for potential grant applicants and also show the main risks and traps arising in every part of project cycle.

This diploma thesis is dealing with risk management application to specific project of production implementation in confectionary business, analyzing possible risks and suggesting needed corrections. The analysis of the current situation was created to help to reach the main goal. There was analysis of micro environment and macro environment followed by SWOT analysis which shows strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Special methods of project management were used, RIPRAN method for risk management. Based on previous analysis there is suggestion of possible needed corrections for the project.

The thesis analyse in detail the surroundings of the project in context of the International Students Club’s activities. The project will be managed by standardized tools of International Project Management Association. The thesis describes used methods and documentation which is transferred to practical use.
