Perception and experience of fairness in the process of buying and paying

This thesis deals with issues of perception and experience of fairness in context of buying and paying. It focuses initially on the general definition and there is stated general theoretical basis. Considerable part of thesis deals with factors, which influence perception and experience of (un)fairness and these factors are divided into four groups. In the next part it deals with consequences of perceived and experienced unfairness and provides overview of coping strategies, which the individual uses to restore the inner balance. The last chapter focuses on the prevention of perception and experience of unfairness. The empirical part proposes a research design - an experiment, whose aim is to find out, if there is any impact on perception of fairness of provided price information and price itself. The experiment is supplemented by two questionnaries, whose aim is to discover potential personal characteristics related with forming of judgement of fairness.
