PRACOVNÍ ÚRAZY: Správná praxe pro malé a střední podniky

Tato příručka je určena zaměstnavatelům, zvláště těm s menším počtem zaměstnanců, u kterých nepůsobí odborně způsobilá osoba k zajišťování úkolů v prevenci rizik. Shrnuje základní práva a povinnosti v oblasti pracovních úrazů – zaměstnavatelů, zaměstnanců, orgánů inspekce práce a pojišťovny, u které je zaměstnavatel pojištěn pro případ své odpovědnosti za škodu způsobenou pracovním úrazem nebo nemocí z povolání. V příručce jsou uvedeny případy konkrétních úrazů z praxe, u kterých lze někdy obtížně rozlišit, zda jde o pracovní úraz, či nikoliv, a jak se řeší. Některé příklady těchto netypických pracovních úrazů jsou doplněny o citace z judikátů Nejvyššího soudu ČR. Část je věnována také statistice pracovních úrazů v České republice. Závěrem je uveden výčet právních předpisů, které se k problematice vztahují. Obsahem příručky není právní úprava školních úrazů a ani nemocí z povolání.

Rozbor systému bezpečnosti práce v lesní těžbě a návrh opatření pro zvýšení její účinnosti v podmínkách LH ČR

The propose of this diploma thesis is to analyse the system of working safety in lumber industry, based on Czech and European legislation and other laws and regulations. It is also important to study the technical literature in comparison with the statistics made by state and trade union organisations. The diploma thesis is mainly focused on the working safety in logging. The conclusion is also based on the data gather by means of a questionnaire, which was fulfilled by a sample of workers in logging field, and their level of working safety is then compared to the one of Lesy České republiky, s. p., the forest enterprise of Židlochovice, Vojenské lesy a statky, s. p., a division of Plumlov and a private enterpriser. Besides, my own investigation into not obeying the regulation of working safety by a self-employer was done. By means of all the gathered data a suggestion was made to boost the effectiveness of working safety and health protection which could result in minimising of the number of work injuries and accidents.

This thesis elaborates on work-related injuries in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The first part of the thesis describes the basic terminology, the concept of work-related injury, types of accidents and the causes of injury.Main focus of this work is related on the development and signification of occupational injuries, the dynamics of on-the-job injury ratein the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan.The other part of the work describes actions to prevent risks of work-related injuries and health, safety and environment management systems, the economical aspects of occupational health and safety.

The Employer's Responsability for the Damage Caused to Employee by Work Accidents and Occupational Diseases

v anglickém jazyce The dissertation thesis deals with a very substantial and permanent part of the labour law's field and labour law-related and the other connected relationships, i.e. the issue of the work accidents and occupational diseases, mainly from the perspective of that arised reponsability's relationship, resp. the employer's obligations to damages' compensation in relation to employee and his individual rights (claims) to the damages' compensation due to the incurred accidents in the form of a work accident or occupational disease. The author's impetus to the choise of the working accidents and occupational diseases' topic (resp. the employer's responsability for damages caused to emploees due to working accidents and occupational diseases) for the purposes of the dissertation thesis is owed to (permanently) a very substantial importance of the issue in the terms of labour law-related relationships and generally and essentially society-wide relationships, even if in despite of a very substantial importance of the issue the expert's litterature to the issue of the working accidents and occupational diseases is not to be considered as sufficient. Occupational health and safety management of policemen Městské policie hl. m. Prahy

This thesis analyzes the current settings of occupational health and safety process regarding officers of the Municipal Police of Prague (MPP). The theoretical part provides situational analysis of conditions in which MPP operates. There are also defined key risks for personal safety of municipal policemen, identified methodology for risk management and quality control. The practical part describes and analyzes the process of occupational health and safety at MPP. The result of this work is evaluation of the current process effectiveness and proposal of possible scenarios of further improvement.
