Prague high school student's interest or lack of interest in political events in the Czech Republic

The main goal of the work was to find out what attitude students of high schools in Prague have towards political events in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, I focused, among other things, on questionnaire surveys processed by the organization Jeden svět na školách and on the image of the young generation portrayed in the media. I suggested several options for making the classes of political science more attractive and better motivate students to be interested in the topic. In the practical part, I used the questionnaire method and compared the obtained data with my hypotheses. Other methods were analysis, and comparison of sources and obtained data.

Primary school in Dačice in the years 1890-1953

The work describes lives of pupils at Elementary School in Dačice in the years 1890-1953. The chapters deal with the history of the town of Dačice, the information about the pupils, their education, anniversaries and memories and also their activities on behalf of the country during the war. The work also focuses on the political and other important events that happened within the given years, and whether and how they had an impact at school. The work mainly analyses extant sources chronicles.

School in Jemnice in the years 1952-1970

The work is dealing with a description of the life of pupils in a primary school in Jemnice during the period 1952-1970, during the Communist era. Each of the chapters focus in detail on the life of the pupils, principals and teachers who worked at the school, including the after school activities of the students. This includes information on how the pupils spent the time out of school, in which organizations and clubs they were meeting up. In addition, we will also learn what kind of celebrations and festivals were held during this period and what extraordinary events were taking place. The work will also disclose the political situation and what influence it had on the school life.

Reflection of Czech-German relations in the regional periodicals in the thirties of the 20th century

This bachelor thesis will focus on Czech-German relations in České Budějovice region in the thirties of the 20th century. They will be observed in both the nationwide trends and regional specificities. The theoretical part will be focused on the genesis of the coexistence of Czechs and Germans till the late thirties of the 20 century, not only in social and political context of Czechoslovakia but also of neighboring Germany and its internal policies (the period of so-called Weimar Republic and Third Reich). Increased emphasis will be devoted to the naming and characterization of the major aspects of mutual ethnic antagonism. In this chapter there will also be a characteristic of České Budějovice in terms of mutual coexistence of Czech and German population and the definition of its local differences within the national development. Practical part will be devoted to a comparison of two regional periodicals, Jihočeské listy and Budweiser Zeitung, according to precisely specified political and cultural topics and categories that characterized the changes in mutual co-existence the best

Social and political charakteristics of the language and style of journalism in different political periods

This work is intended on publish texts of diary Rudé právo eventually Právo at three historical periods, in years 1918 - 1938, 1948 - 1989 and 1989 - 2009. From each of that period is selected one year, in which are followed actual social and political events. Attention is devoted to the structure of daily newspapers, their design, scheme, periodical headings, to their style of information. The theoretic part of this work is intended on the development of public style and its characteristic. The practical part is established to confrontation of noted periods in langure level as well as in content level. The languge means at first are described theoretic and then are inserted some examples of particular diaries. The historicai period of the state and diary development are described of political and social level. As well I contextualize some examples of these events. The aim of this work is realize the lexicon, political and social changes of mentioned period.

In February survey there were included some questions about public interest of Czech citizens in political events in the Czech Republic and in the world, public involvement in political and social life, public attitudes to Citizens´activities leading to legislative changes and public opinions of chances how to influence social events.
