Monitoring of selected metals in comercial bio wines
Bortlová, Alžběta ; Reichstädter, Marek (referee) ; Pořízka, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on monitoring of selected metals in commercial organic wines. The aim of this thesis was to compare element content of organically produced wines with wines originating from other agrotechnical production system. Optical emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES) was used for element analysis of wine. Statistical method analysis of variance has been used to assess whether the concentrations of the elements showed statistical differences between wines originating from organic production and wines originating from other production systems. Statistical differences were found in 3 of 20 analysed elements. Correlations between the element analysis and type of production system of grapevine were observed in content of the zinc, nickel and manganese.

Finalization of organic production on the farm
VAVŘINA, Martin
This thesis deals with the questions of farmers' getting their ecological production on the market, the drawbacks of gaining access on the market, what prevents farms from entering the market, and analysis of development of agriculture on ecological farms in the last ten years. In order to obtain questions to these answers it was necessary to conduct a questionnare survey. In order to compare these results, a method of a questionnaire survey from 2004 was selected focusing on the competitiveness of ecological farms. According to the questionnaire survey, the research was compiled and results of the research were compared with the results of the questionnaire survey compiled ten years ago. The research involved areas of north-western part of the Czech Republic and 45 respondents out of 95 farms participated in this research.
Structure Of Organic Farming In Moravian-Silesian Region
VEBROVÁ, Ivana
The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the structure of ecological farming production in the Moravian-Silesian Region and in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part describes the issue of organic farming. It contains definition, history, importance, specifics and nonproductive functions. The next section is based on own analysis and databases of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Information (IAEI) and the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). It describes the structure of agricultural land use in organic farming in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Results are compared with the structure of the Czech Republic. The analysis monitors plant production (acreage for each crop, the representation of crops and average yields) and livestock production (species and number of animals and the amount of livestock production).
Structure Of Organic Farming In Central Bohemia
CHLUMSKÁ, Jana
This bachelor thesis is focused on review structure of production in organic farming of central Bohemia. In teoretic part is described definitiv of organic farming, history and his importance. In the following chapter is mentioned the developement of organic farming in the Czech republic. Further are mentioned the specifics of plant production, animal production and nonproductive functions of organic farming. The practical part of thesis is focused on evaluation of data, which was obtained from database Institute of Agricultural Economics and Informations, Ministry ofAgriculture, survey and from Faculty of Agriculture in University of South Bohemia. In this practical part of thesis is evaluated acreage of individual crops, species and numbers of breedin ganimals and others. Data are collected for central Bohemia and compared whit the whole Czech Republic. From the results ensues that organic farming is the most represented in the Southern Bohemian and Moravian-Silesian Region and in the Carlsbad Region. In the Central Bohemian Region organic farming is represented by only 3, 2 % of the total amount of agricultural soil which is in organic farming mode. The biggest portion of areas in organic farming is occupied by permanent grassland. Their acreage is the largest mainly in mountain and submontane areas. Cereals are definitely the most grown crops. They were grown on 2176, 8 ha in the Central Bohemian Region. As to animal production sheep breeding is prevailing in this area.
Production of strawberries in organic system of growing
Pištěková, I. ; Boček, S. ; Vaňková, Radomíra ; Drahošová, H. ; Odstrčilová, L. ; Salaš, P. ; Sasková, H.
A technology of growing strawberries in organic farming systems is presented in the methodology. The methodology is aimed at selecting the most suitable varieties of strawberry, previous crop influence, the influence of supplementary plant products and biofungicides on the yield of single varieties. It contains evaluation of health condition and fruiting characteristics of varieties. Yield potential of varieties and resistance to diseases were found in the most suitable varieties and technological processes for organic cultivation of strawberries were selected. The methodology for practice is a comprehensive guide for growing strawberries in organic production systems.
Structure Of Organic Farming In South Bohemia
CHYTRÁČKOVÁ, Eliška
The diploma study is focused on the analysis of the structure of ecological farming production in South Bohemia. Within the area data was collected from agro and zoo production, to assess the structure and volume of agricultural production and basic benchmarking with bio farming offer on market. For analysis questionnaires were used, direct talks with producers and data from database of ÚZEI. Analysis of the structure of production of bio farming and other farms which shows dominance of permanent grass culture and a smaller part of arable soil. Here is mostly produced cereals and fodder plants. Zoo production is represented by the domination of beef raised without milk production. The comparison on offer from the specialized shops and supermarkets display non compliance of market offer with production.
Forms of Distribution of Organic Food
PETERKA, Michal
The main purpose of the thesis is the analysis and judgement of distribution methods, which are currently used for organic foods. The first stage involved a marketing research in form of an online questionnaire, which was placed on Google Docs. This questionnaire focused on shopping habits of the customers. The evaluation showed, that the customers most frequently by the organic foods in the self service shops. The second most common place for buying the organic foods were the shops specialised in selling such products, and the third most common place were the suppliers. The most common organic foods bought by the customers were milk and dairy products, the second place belonged to fruits, and on third place were vegetables. The second stage involved a marketing research in form of telephonically enquiring the farmers from the South Bohemian Shire. The results represent the fifty organic farms out of the sixty four contacted organic farms, which responded to the enquiries. The farmers from the South Bohemian Shire most commonly rise cattle. The biggest consumers of their products, with 39 per cent, are processing companies. Selling the meat or live cattle directly at the farm accounts for 32 per cent, and 24 per cent of the products are consumed by distributors. Only 5 per cent of the products is consumed by retailers, which sell the meat directly to consumers. The second most commonly produced commodity is milk and dairy products. According to questionnaire, the entire production is intended for the czech market and the consumption is in average rated as ``commendable{\crqq}, which is greatly affected by Madeta a.s. Other consumers of milk and dairy products are healthy food shops and catering institutions. The individual contributions to the consumption of milk and dairy products are unknown. There are very few producers of organic fruits and vegetables in the South Bohemian Shire, and therefore the marketing research did not produce any useful results regarding these products.
Distribution of Organic Production - Organic Boxes
VOLENÍKOVÁ, Eva
This diploma thesis inquires into organic box distribution analysis. The main purpose of this thesis is to look more closely at organic box schemes and consumer behaviour related to organic boxes. First part focuses on organic farming and particular types of distribution channels used in organic farming. Second part identifies chosen organic box schemes and their members, such as farmers and co-operatives. These members as well as consumers were interviewed on a specific questionnaire-basis. All gathered data were later evaluated and synthesized. According to those, working hypotheses were assessed. At the end of this thesis, it was established that the supply of organic box schemes (farmers, co-operatives) meets its particular demand (consumers of organic food).
