Specifics of social work for adolescents with drug addiction

This bachelor thesis focuses on the specifics of social work with adolescents with drug addiction. The theoretical part describes the target group, the consequences of drug use, the specifics of drug addiction in adolescents, and the specifics of social work with adolescents with drug addiction, specifically short intervention and motivational training, social counseling, contact work, and prevention. In the empirical part, I try to find out the specifics of social work with adolescents who are threatened by undesirable social phenomena, addictive substances. The research is conducted through semi-structured interviews with staff in low-threshold centers for children and young people who have experience working with adolescents. The result of the work is to identify examples of good practice with the target group from the perspective of social workers in low- threshold centers for children and youth.
Social media as a online diary for people suffering from an eating disorder

The topic of this bachelor's work is the social media as an online diary for people suffering from an eating disorder. This type of dailies occurs on social media such as blogs and social networks, primarily Instagram and Tiktok. The authors of these journals promote pro-anorexic and pro-bulimic behaviors, but at the same time offer their readers an understanding and community where members do not feel lonely. I also addressed a possible link between addictive behavior and the online diary and content on social media. The aim of the work was to characterize the issue of online journals, which can motivate them to break food intake. Further, using an inquiry survey to find out how the age category 11-19 years of age perceives social networks, its appearance, self-esteem, weight, and just this kind of harmful content on social media. In the practical part, the questionnaire survey method was chosen to obtain the results of the quantitative research, thanks to which the responses of persons from the basic set were analysed by the pupils of the Gymnasium Chotěboř, the pupils of the primary school Ždírec nad Doubravou and Krucemburk. A total of 500 respondents in the age category from 11-19 years were involved in this research.
Compulsive Buying

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of compulsive buying, phenomenon which is a current topic for today's society and its incidence is rising. The area of oniomania includes psychological but also social and financial aspects of the disorder. The thesis focuses mainly on the sphere of introduction of oniomania, as a great danger to man and society, especially in the context of financial illiteracy. Enough room is devoted to explication of main key words from the area of addictions (drug addictions and behavioral addictions). Attention has also been dedicated to an important chapter of the issue of gender in context to the pathological shopping and also to topics of getting to know the possibilities of treatment and prevention. The practical part of the thesis deals with research of level of awareness and orientation issues of shopping addiction among university students Using analysis of submitted questionnaires, this part of the thesis tries to find answers to fundamental questions related to the theme of financial literacy.
The Role of Mobile Phone in the Life of a University Student: Monitoring Mobile Phone Interaction and Subsequent Reflection of Students

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to explore what are the habits of mobile phone usage by university students and for what purpose they use their mobile phone. Research questions focus simply on the means of usage along with students knowledge on mobile phone excessive addictive behaviour. Research was conducted in qualitative means using quasi experiment as a main method that included two parts. First, there was a group of 4 men and 4 women, in age of 18 - 26, that had their "on screen time" measured for one week. Second, each participant was individually confronted during an semi structured interview, where there was main focus on analysing their reaction. Results confirmed, that university students are strongly affected by the mobile phone influence and they show addictive behaviour. Women are experiencing a stronger need than men and are using their phones more often. A link to procrastination during learning or school lessons was found as well. Study has shown that there is a need for broader education on excessive phone usage as a part of precautionary programs on elementary and high schools. Negative effect of addictive substances on human organism

In my thesis I have focused on assesment of particular cathegories of drugs and mainly their negative harmful influence on human organism. I have suggested the system of subdivision of those causing drug addiction. I have used specialized literature; books and magazines.
