Use of Statistical Methods for Cracking Store Trade
Adamec, Václav ; Halvová, Darja (referee) ; Kropáč, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis in his theoretical section summarizes the available literature with basic information about storage of inventory and monitoring of enterprises. It is focused primarily on the characteristics of time series, regression analysis and inventory control using time series. The aim of the practical part is to describe practical suggestions for inventory management, which would confirm that the tracking stock, keeping the minimum conditions and well-developed supplier relations firm ensures lower operating costs and will require less space for storing supplies.
Optimizing design of electric machines using genetic algorithms
Jelének, Marek ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with optimization methods usable in the construction of electrical machines. The main aim of this thesis is propose an optimization method, applied to simple example and evaluate optimized results with not optimized results.
Parallel genetic algorithm
Trupl, Jan ; Kobliha, Miloš (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis describes design and implementation of various evolutionary algorithms, which were enhanced to use the advantages of parallelism on the multiprocessor systems along with ability to run the computation on different machines in a computer network. The purpose of these algorithms is to find the global extreme of function of $n$ variables. In the thesis, there are demonstrated various optimization problems, and their effective solution with the help of evolutionary algorithms. There are also described interface libraries MPI(Message Passing Interface) and OpenMP, in the extent needed to understand the problematic of parallel evolutionary algorithms.
Generalization of convex functions
Bessisso, Samir ; Lachout, Petr (advisor) ; Hlubinka, Daniel (referee)
Convex functions have range of useful properties that can be well utilized in mathe- matical optimization. For instance, their local minima is also global minima, they have convex lower level sets and if differentiable, their stationary point is also the point of global minima. For differentiable convex functions gradient methods and Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions can be effectively applied. On the other hand, the assumption of convexity is rather restrictive and not necessary for some of their desired properties. Theme of this thesis are convex functions and their generalizations, namely quasiconvex and K-convex functions, invex functions are also marginally mentioned. This thesis gathers knowledge about convex, quasiconvex and K-convex functions that can be used in mathematical optimization and ilustrates it on examples. 1

School prevention programme analysis
Čmelíková, Šárka ; Pavlas Martanová, Veronika (advisor) ; Chomynová, Pavla (referee)
Background: This thesis focuses on the analysis of a school prevention program of Komenského primary school in Náchod. Aim: The recommended structure of a school prevention program is being compared with the actual school's program. The thesis follows the cooperation and actions of school employees that are involved in creating the program and applying its chapters of several risk behavior forms based on the recommended lesson range. Based on these criteria the prevention program of ZŠ Náchod is rated. Methods: The research part analysed school documents such as Minimal prevention program, Annual school activity report and School education program. The topic of risk behaviour prevention is being focused on in said documents. The description of the documents is completed by half- structured interviews with the principal of the school, special pedagogue, educational counselor, school prevention methodologist and prevention methodologist in psychological and pedagogical counseling. Results: When it comes to the risk behaviour prevention field the school is open. Tasks are divided among several teachers that cooperate. The school prevention program has a formal structure. There is a room for improvement in goal processing and the engagement of individual forms of risk behavior prevention. Conclusion:...
Derivative in apllied problems - a digest of solved examples.
ZACHAROVÁ, Jana
The main goal of my diploma work on the topic "Derivative in apllied problems a digest of solved examples" is to create a set of solved exercises that somehow use calculus during solving. The collection contains 43 solved practical problems relating to calculus of one or two variables. This collection intends to serve as a training aid for students of middle or high schools. For a better overview individual tasks are sorted by appropriate fields of science (mathematical, biological, physical, economic).

Extremes of two-variable functions --- a digest of solved examples
SEKAL, Tomáš
The topic of this bachelor work is to create a collection of exercises on the extremes of functions of two variables. It focuses mainly on local extremes. Exercises are ordered from easiest to more difficult. For each example there is solution procedure presented and illustrated with 3D graphs of functions, created using the mathematical program Maple. In the very beginning is provided "first aid" in the form of instructions for solving this kind of examples. At the end are included in "nontraditional" examples from mathematics and physics.
