Advanced methods of surface topography evaluation

This thesis focuses on a measuring and topography of a components´ surface evaluation and it contains the overview of basic methods which includes the description of contact and non-contact measuring devices. Furthermore, the thesis also describes ways of surface texture evaluation through profiled and areal method, including an outline of ČSN ISO parameters. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the evaluation of metric threads´ M10 surface, crafted by diverse cutting and forming threads. The surface was scanned with the optical device called Alicona IFM G5 and it was evaluated through the profiled and areal method. The 2D and 3D parameters were acquired and then compared during the measuring.
Quality measurement of analog and digital terrestrial television broadcasting

This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the description of basic features of the analog and digital television broadcasting and suggestion of a method for objective video quality evaluation at both broadcasting types. The base of this thesis is description of picture broadcast technology in analog and digital form. Also principles of some video quality evaluation metrics are described. In this thesis, a method for video quality comparison is suggested, including a verifying of this method. According to this method, sequences at changing broadcasting conditions were recorded for both broadcasting types. The quality factors of these sequences were computed and on the basis of these factors, the analog and digital TV broadcasting were compared.
Methods and Metrics For Software Usability Measurement

The master's thesis deals with the quality of software products focusing on usability of these products and methods of its measurement. The thesis resumes the definitions of quality from different sources and quality models according to available standards. It also describes usability in detail and methods and metrics for its measurement and analyses current situation in this field. In the thesis the tool for measuring usability of desktop software products was designed and implemented.
Measurement of electric power quality

Bachelor thesis introduction explains the concept of electric power quality and describes the different characteristics of voltage, which determine the electric power quality. Further bachelor thesis is engaged in finding the optimal data communications for the energy data for telecommunications networks, GSM networks and high-voltage networks PLC technology with regard to safety and reliability of data transmission. Subsequently are analyzes the data using Wireshark. Analyzed data was measured meter of power quality PQ monitor MEg 33. According to the types of analyzed data were evaluated possible types of security using CrypTool 2. At the end of this work is analyzed measuring the basic characteristics of power quality and practical measurement is made with quality recorder Fluke VR1710.
Methods of research in libraries - an analysis of methods used for research in the Czech republic and abroad too

This thesis concerns methods of research, user's satisfaction and methods and tools for measuring quality and performance in the libraries of the Czech Republic and the Nordic countries, especially the library institutions of Norway, Sweden and Finland. The theoretical part focuses on the basic concepts related to research in general. Furthermore, the thesis clarifies specific tools and methods for measuring the quality and performance in an environment of the Czech and Nordic libraries and it also comments on the research methods of the user's satisfaction in the libraries of the Czech Republic. The practical part is composed of an exploration in the Czech libraries by using different kinds of research methods.
Increasing quality of the social service of home for the elderly in Karviná

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou standardů kvality poskytovaných služeb, konkrétně zvyšováním kvality sociálních služeb Domova pro seniory v Karviné. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak se projevuje subjektivní vnímání pracovníků ohledně způsobu poskytování sociálních služeb na základě jejich poslání, zásad poskytování služeb, osobních cílů uživatelů služby a jejich chování a postojů. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování kvality, a to v souvislosti s kvalitou poskytovaných služeb domova pro seniory, měření a zvyšování kvality sociálních služeb. Dále se zabývá přístupy zaměřené na člověka jako model, který může být vodítkem "dobré" služby v návaznosti na možné důkazy o zvýšení kvality poskytovaných pobytových služeb pro osoby vyššího věku. Ty vycházejí především ze standardů kvality poskytovaných služeb. Postoje a chování pracovníků jsou sledovány v rámci empirické části ve vybraných situacích, které jsou v organizaci považovány z hlediska přímé péče a ochrany práv uživatele za rizikové. Na základě výsledků z ohniskových skupin jsou vytvořena doporučení, která mohou být základem pro změny v pojetí kvality v dané pobytové sociální službě a nastavení programu jejího zvyšování. The bachelor thesis deals with the determination of the most important quality factors that influence the demand for the Wine Destination in Znojmo, their identification, the determination of meaning for the potential visitors. The goal is also to build a visitor´s profile of Znojmo area. The source of data for analysis is the primary research of wine destination visitors and the evaluation is carried out using IPA analysis.
Ověření použití sekundárních produktů po lisování oleje v kosmetickém průmyslu

The thesis describes the pressing of oils from fruit species, presents their selected quality parameters and evaluates the possibilities of their application in the production of cosmetics. The oil was pressed from almond, hazelnut, royal, apricot, peach, currant and rosehip seeds. Particular oils were obtained by cold pressing to produce the secondary products used. Selected substances such as fatty acid content. It also included the identification of qualitative parameters such as peroxide number, acidity number, oil acidity, oil saponification and iodine content in oils. Results show high MUFA content. Oil with its highest content is walnut (85.97%). The predominant acid in oils is oleic acid. Plum oil has the best antioxidant stability. The highest acid number is apricot oil (3.55 mg KOH.g-1). Peach oil (351,60 mg KOH / g oil) has the highest saponification number. The highest iodine number has almond oil (54,50 g.l2.100 g-1). Oils and secondary products have been used in the manufacture of cosmetic products. The choice of cosmetic products was based on market research. They were inspired by current cosmetic trends.Formula clause:The reason for postponing the publication of final thesis entitled Verification of using the secondary products after oil pressing in the cosmetic industry is the use of results of work for application output, cooperation with the commercial sector and further possible commercialization. Estimated delay is three years.
