Possibility education children and students with physical disability in Benešov.
STEHLÍKOVÁ, Lucie
The dissertation deals with the education of students with handicappeds in the normal and special primary schools. The teoretical part is focused on the definition of disability and its types. Another chapter deals with the possibilities of education, including the integration and condition, activities, advisory institutions services and legislative modification of education. Here you will find a reference to the history of access to the disabled. As the main sources I used specialized literature. The objective of the study was to determine the attitude of parents, educators and other professionals as well their own children with handicappends in the educational process in currents mainstream classes and the classes in the special schools. In this part of the dissertation is specified the research and partial objective including the research question, which was implemented by the qualitative data collection. There is not ignored the character of the selective file and the detailed description of the research itself, which was executed by semi-standardized interviews and analysis of the student´s documentation. The majority of the respondents were approached in writing with a request for cooperation, the remaining individuals I contacted personally. Selected group was composed of individuals who answered the criteria for meeting the research objectives. Subsequently, it was realized a personal meeting with respondents willing to participate in the research part of the dissertation. There are not mentioned the names of some institutions and the names of the respondents in order to maintain anonymity, which they required. The interviews were executed always in private individuality without the presence to other people and were mostly driven by pre-prepared question that have been adapted to the ages and levels of respondents. The results cannot be applied in general, since it is a work with the character of case studies. During the analyzing process of the data that emerged from the interviews with selected respondents is possible to say that children and students in the selected region have relatively a wide range of choosing schools for their education. However, not all schools are really prepared for the arrival of individuals with handicappends, and unfortunately there is a preference for children with minor degrees of disability. The possible problem I would see in the quality of service of the specialized facilities that I had the opportunity to visit, which was unsatisfactory, especially the normal schools providing an opportunity for integration. In comparison which the legislation does not in the Decree no. 73/2005 Coll. and in the amended law no 147/2011 Coll. §3 concerning of the education children, pupils and students with special educational needs f children and the education of children, pupils and students in the Education Act. no 561/2004 Coll. regarding preschool, secondary and technical and other kind of education and § 16 in Act no. 563/2004 Coll. about teaching persons and amending certain acts. Not only does it showed ignorance teachers sometimes partial reluctance to develop in areas of need, but also the overall approach of teaching staff on the whole process of integration of children and pupils with physical disabilities. For unsatisfactory or rather inadequate, I also evaluated the awareness and cooperation of parents by counselling centers and thus also in cooperation with school facilities and particularly the incompetence of the teaching assistants of the teachers. The main objective was to map out what is happening in the education of individuals with disabilities in the region around the city Benešov and its close proximity to the public that this issues is concerned. The work could be beneficial, since the findings could serve as a potential source of information on the potential positives and negatives of education in these facilities as well as could be useful for parents a students.
Educating pupils with vision impairment and combined disability within mainstream education
HAPLOVÁ, Martina
This bachelor thesis is devoted to the education of children and students with visual impairments and other concurrent disabilities in the mainstream education. It is essential to note that I have not included the pupils with mental disabilities into the target group of this thesis, mainly because of the reason, that in case of the mental disability, the way of the education is being changed. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the presentation of individual types of disabilities. The second chapter deals with the integration and its legislation, other ways of the education of students with visual impairments and concurrent disabilities and information about teacher assistants. The third chapter contains specifics of the education in particular types of disabilities (visual, auditory and physical disabilities and attention deficit disorders) and specifics of the education in the combination of the visual and other concurrent disabilities. Those impairments were chosen in connection with the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The practical part of the thesis has been defined by research objectives. The main objective is to analyse the education process at the pupils with the visual impairments and other concurrent disabilities in the mainstream education. To achieve this main objective, I chose three sub-goals. The first sub-goal is focused on the organization of lessons for the children with visual impairments and other concurrent disabilities in the mainstream education. With the help of the second research goal, I tried to find out the method of the teacher assistants´ preparation for the educational process and the third sub-goal deals with the motivation, experience and education of the teacher assistants. To meet the objectives of the practical part I chose qualitative methods of the data collection, i.e. structured interviews with open-ended questions, observations and document analysis. Most questions were posed to the teacher assistants in the interviews, then there were interviewed the teachers, especially classroom teachers and teacher of selected subjects. Those subjects were: Czech language, a foreign language, Mathematics and some of the subjects like Geography or History and some of the educational activities. Further there were made observations of the pupils with visual impairments and concurrent disabilities in their classes; they were held in preliminary specified lessons. The last used method was an analysis of the documents, specifically of the individual educational plans for four selected pupils with visual and concurrent disabilities, who are educated at the elementary or secondary mainstream schools. The target group of the bachelor thesis consists of four chosen pupils with visual impairment and other concurrent disabilities, their teachers and the teacher assistants. The research results show that the education of pupils with the visual impairment and other concurrent disabilities is possible at the adaptation of material, labour, pro-social conditions, in respect to a psycho-motoric pace of the pupils and with set rules for their stay in the classroom and in the resting place of the pupils with visual and other concurrent disabilities. As the adapted conditions there are meant modified materials enlarged texts, textbooks or overwriting of original texts and textbooks in the Braille writing. Furthermore, it is also a modification of the working environment of the pupils with visual impairments by using suitably positioned folding benches or benches with folding boards, lamps to illuminate the text and for the pupils with severe visual impairments, placing guide-lines, if they need them for their movement. Conditions must be adapted as well as to other concurrent disabilities that limit the individual even more. These include for example an orthopaedic chair, an adequate height of the working surface, a barrier-free access to school.

Education of foreigners' children at lower secondary school is inevitable, because this level is obligatory for children aged six to fifteen, or eighteen in some cases. The aim of this thesis is to focus on education of foreign children at lower secondary level and to survey educational material provided by organizations. These materials should be helpful when integrating foreigners or teaching about migration. The practical part is a case study in which there is everything about how the particular school works with foreigners. The approach of teachers to these children is also illustrated there. The thesis reveals whether the teachers are ready for teaching foreign children who speak different mother tongue; it also evaluates the contribution of the school to integrating the children to the society.
