The subject of my bachelor's thesis is the analysis of economic indicators using statistical methods in the chosen company. Specifically, it will include financial analysis and statistical methods, which are important tools for the analysis and financial evaluation of a particular company as well as necessary tools to identify development of trend and prognosis for the next period in the future. The end will contain the solution proposal.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a Company and Proposals to its Improvement

This bachelor thesis evaluates the past and present of the company ELKOV elektro a.s., and the future financial conditions of the company are predicted. First, selected indicators are selected, followed by their calculation together by calculating their comparative bases. In the second part I deal with the analysis of absolute, difference, ratio indicators and their systems and their comparison with the selected comparative bases. In the third step, I evaluate the development of indicators over time. The following is an evaluation of the mutual relations between the ratios - revealing the causes of the current state and development. Finally, suggestions for improvement are provided.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Selected Company

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the assessment of the financial situation and the financial analysis of the selected business corporation and the subsequent implementation of the selected proposals. The work consists of parts focusing on the overall and partial objectives together with the methodology of writing, from the theoretical part consisting of one chapter and six subchapters, the analysis of the current situation containing one chapter and five subchapters and the design part consisting of one chapter and the four subchapters.

Proposal of Software Improvement Support for a Trading Strategy in Commodity Markets

The Bachelor work is focused on proposals to improve software support and the efficiency of investment in commodity exchanges worldwide. The aim is to propose software improvements for selected software used for trading. Improvements will be made on the basis of analysis and comparison, the currently commonly used traders software for trading on world stock exchanges, with a focus on finding and proposing modules that improve the strategies used during trading. Based on the introduction and the use of these improved modules, that are currently not available, will increase efficiency of work for traders and reduce potential risks of investments used.

Comparative Analysis of New Developments Around the City of Brno

This master’s thesis deals with analysis of documents for the realization of the new buildings the wider area of Brno. It is divided into the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part describes defines and characterize different stages of implementation of building plots in the framework of utility lines and roads on agricultural land (greenfields), designated for residential housing. In the empirical part goals and methodology of the research project are mentioned and it is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to case studies comparing and analyzing the costs and revenues of the developer selected localities of satellite towns. The second part is focused on the actual development of land prices. It points to items affecting profit or loss of the developer. In the last chapter the author of this thesis describes creating a preliminary calculation, which the developer can determine whether a satellite town of the selected project will be successful or not. In conclusion, the thesis points out important factors affecting the project success of the satellite town.

Algorithmic Trading Using Artificial Neural Networks

The capability to be able to determine the future progression on the worlds stock exchange is an important issue, which has become discernible in the last decades. An important role of this progression lies within the fast advancements in computerized technology.Aforementioned document describes a mechanism used for prediction of the future price of a certain stock. The strategy of trading is build upon this mechanism, and the core of this prediction system is an artificial neural network. Inputs used in this network are indicators derived from technical analysis. This trading system was implemented into historical trades and successfully tested.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the performance of the company Zemánek Mikulov, s.r.o. The evaluation is performed using financial analyzes based on the company's financial statements. The first part of the thesis deals with the theory of financial analysis and presents the key concepts and formulas of calculation. In the second part of the work is an analysis of selected indicators. In the last part of the work are suggestions for improving the financial situation of the company and there is a specific proposal for improvement.
