Apartment building in Uherský Brod

The subject of the work is a new construction of an apartment building with almost zero energy consumption and the elaboration of documentation for the construction. The building is located in a suburb of Olšava in Uherský Brod. The surrounding development consists mainly of apartment buildings. The proposed building is detached with three above-ground and one underground floor. Part of the design of the building is a parking lot for the needs of residents of an apartment building, located on the building plot. Thermal insulation and acoustic masonry of the Therm type were used for the design of the house. The ceiling structures are made of the Porotherm ceramic system, consisting of POT beams and Miako ceiling inserts. The building is covered with a flat roof with vegetation. The construction is based on foundation strips.

Penzion Domažlice

The aim of this diploma thesis is a project of a new building of a penzion with four floors. Penzion is situated in cadastral area Domažlice, in the centre of the town Domažlice. The building of penzion is free standing and it´s partially with a basement. There is one basement floor and three floors in this building. There is a facilities for restaurant, 2 conference halls and facillities for penzion on the first floor of building. The second and third floor are used for the accommodation of guests. There are 14 double rooms and one room for two immobile persons on the second floor. On the third floor, there are 12 double rooms and two double apartment. The basement of the building is used for parking and technical facilities of penzion. Roof of the building is designed two types of roofs. Three floors part of the building is covered by warm flat roof and the one floor part of the building is covered by green roof. Structural system consists of the cast – in – place concrete frame which is reinforced by masonry walls. Building envelope is insulated with contact thermal insulation. Facade of the one – floor part of the building and the back part of the building is designed from facade panels. Documentation of the diploma thesis is prepared for the building contruction. The graphical part of documentation has been processed in the Autodesk Autocad software. Thermal assesment has been processed in Svoboda software.

Kindergarten

This diploma thesis focuses on the design of a new kindergarten building located on a slightly sloping plot in Dubňany, South Moravia. Functionally it is possible to divide the kindergarten into three parts - administration, education and technical facilities. There are two classes, each for 24 for children, a separate common room and a pottery class. The total capacity of the kindergarten is 48 children. It is designed as a single-storey building with a green flat roof and without a basement. It is based on concrete foundation strips. Loadbearing mansory is made of sand-lime blocks, partitions are made of sand-lime blocks and aerated concrete blocks, ceiling is made of prestressed hollow core slabs. The walls are insulated with a combination of contact thermal insulation system and ventilated facade with facade cladding of fibre-cement board and timber cladding. Atypical round windows were use as a fun detail for the both classrooms and the common room.

The sports complex of the football academy of the Moravian-Silesian region

The aim of my master´s thesis is the processing of project documentation for construction. The proposed detached building is located in the cadastral area of Ostravice 1 [715671] in the township of Ostravice [598542]. The building is designed as a three-story building with one underground floor and two aboveground floors, partially basement, with a single-layer flat roof. The floor plan of the building is rectangular with two setbacks of the northwest facade. The basement serves for regeneration and relaxation, but also as a technical background of the building. The first ground floor contains spaces for teaching, dining, leisure, and sports facilities - locker rooms. The second above-ground floor is designed for accommodation. Excavation work is carried out by a combination of trench shoring and sloping of the construction pit. The foundation structures are solved by a foundation slab made of hydraulic reinforced concrete. The structural system is a combined skeletal and wall system. The vertical structural system of the building is made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete elements. Ceiling and staircase structures are designed as reinforced cast-in-place concrete. The thermal insulation of the building is provided by a contact insulation system, in the second above-ground floor by a ventilated facade.

Multifunctional Building Brno - Líšeň

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design newly-built multifunctional building in Brno city – Lisen district. The project follows on from the architectural study processed in the second grade – subject AG033 – „Architectural Design Studio 3“ and AG036 – „Bachelor Project“ of the fourth grade. The project also includes the results of the subject AG028 – „Detail in Architecture 2“. The task was to prepare the Documentation for Building Permission and the Detail Design Documentation by using CAD applications. The building itself is devided into five above-ground floors, which besides the technical equipment, internal communications and sanitary facilities include also variable premises for the renting of individual work desk – a.k.a. coworking, furthermore the garage for cars and bicycles and individual rentable units suitable especially for administration business.

Mixed-use building

The diploma thesis deals with a work out project documentation of multifunctional building. The new building is located in the cadastral area of Moravské Budějovice. The object will have two uses. The first part of the building will be used as flats and the second part will be used as office space for design company with facilities. There are three floors in the residental part where seven flats are proposed (4x 3+1, 2x 2+kk and a barrier free flat 2+1). The other part of the object has two floors with offices. Their area is about 260 m2. There are 23 parking lots for cars in the building. The roof is designed as a vegetation flat roof. The object is based on concrete foundation strips. The vertical load-bearing constructions are made of ceramics bricks, the ceillings and stairs are made of reinforced concrete.

New synagogue in Trutnov

Diploma thesis theme is design of a new synagogue in the city of Trutnov on a memorial site of the original unpreserved synagogue. Part of the construction program is the creation of a complex used by the Jewish religious community and its members, containing a building for the Jewish community (administrative and educational use), kosher restaurants with use for the general public, and the Museum of Jewish Culture. The aim of the design is to create a set of buildings functioning as a whole respecting the natural landmark of the surroundings and the historical significance referring to the past. The new synagogue is designed as the dominant feature of the whole complex in the place of the original Jewish prayer house and emphasizes the monumentality of the place connected with nature. Other facilities are located in front of the synagogue and create a new public space for locals but also visitors to the city from a wide area not only for spiritual use but also for cultural, social, and recreational.

Kindergarten

The subject of my thesis is a project documentation of kindergarten in the land of the municipality Litovel. It is a two - storey detached house which disposal solution meets the conditions of operation of the building – the education of children aged from three to six years. There are classes for children aged three to four years and technical support for the school in the first floor. In the second floor there are two classes, one class for children aged four to five and second class for pre - school children and children with deferred schooling. Each department has a separate entrance, which is located on the north side. The constructive design of the system is designed from the POROTHERM system. The vertical rim of the structure of the first and second floor are bricked up wiith POROTHERM 44 T Profi dimension of 248 x 440 x 249 mm. Inside walls with POROTHERM 30 Profi, a wall between the rooms, and the food servery is of POROTHERM 30 Aku Profi dimension of 247 x 300 x 249 mm and internal masonry POROTHERM 11, 5 Profi dimension 497 x 115 x 249 mm. In the object there are used SDK pre-walls and ceilings Rigips 150 mm thickness. The ceiling is ceramo-concrete POROTHERM system (carrier beams Pot and cartridge Miako) 290 mm thickness. The vertical structure are obtained from internal and external parties plaster. The roof is designed as a green roof. The windows and the front door are designed in plastic with mahogany colour. Floor coverings are designed with regard to the use or operating rooms - the ceramic floor tiles or vinyl flooring. The operation of the school on the 1 st and 2. floor is linked with monolithic staircase. The outer surface layers are equipped with mineral coloured paint. Small apartment house

It is about new-built block of flats on a land number 599/1 in Uptown Červený Kostelec. It is L-shaped three-floor building without basement. The first flat and technical equipment for whole building are situated on the ground floor. Garages are situated on the ground floor as well. The second flat is set on the first floor and it includes loggia and roof terrace. Studio flat is located on the third floor such as another flat with loggia. The building is roofed with a pitched roof with metal roofing. Roofing of garages is designed by a green roof. Whole masonry is made of brick POROTHERM system. Floor structure is also designed of POROTHERM system, with ceramic beam ceilings MIAKO and POT. All building follows the concepts of surrounding buildings.

Kindergarten of the 21st century

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of a new kindergarten in the city of Brno-Stránice. The assigned plot is located in the northwestern part of the school yard of the Cyril and Methodius Church Grammar School and Primary School. The form concept is based on the dispositional concept of three parts – two units and the support area of the kindergarten – two prisms that open from each other, which form a trapezoidal support area. This shape allows to preserve the privacy of the kindergarten, which is also shielded from public space. The kindergarten is designed as a two storey, partially basement building, with a flat vegetation roof and curtain walling facade. The building respects the street line and has one prism partly above ground level, which allows barrier-free access from Havlíčkova Street to the second floor. The curtain walling facade consists of steel structure, that is overgrown with plants, which freely pass to the vegetation roof and naturally imitate the image of trees. The curtain walling facade will give the kindergarten a natural and playful character, that will become easily acceptable for children.
