Educational box with the theme of birds in the environment of the Zoo of Hluboká nad Vltavou

This bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of a bird-themed educational box in cooperation with the Hluboká nad Vltavou Zoo. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part draws from the literature on the subject. First, it focuses on field education, didactic play and the Framework Educational Programme. The second part is devoted in detail to the birds used in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The practical part takes the form of a didactic game. It includes a manual for teachers and a worksheet for all those interested in the game.
Outdoor education with cross-curricular overlaps between natural history and Czech language and literature

The thesis contains a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is written in the form of a literature search from Czech and foreign sources concerning field education in general, intersubject overlaps and specific teaching methods suitable for the outdoor environment. The aim of the practical part was to create a series of summary tasks set in an outdoor environment and then to evaluate some of them in practice. The tasks contain cross-curricular overlaps between Czech language and literature and natural history and are intended for primary school pupils in Key Stage 2. Validation in practice confirmed the positive impact of the proposed activities on the achievement of cognitive goals by 8th grade pupils.
Use of the Educational Trail "Okolím Kácova" in Teaching at Lower Secondary School

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with educational trails on various topics. The author outlines the history of touristic and educational trails. She deals with informational boards and with the meaning, theme, marking, equipment, building and upkeep of educational trails. Furthermore, the author focuses on field education. Here she mentions the contributions and disadvantages of teaching outside and some general information for pupils and teachers. The goal of the practical section is to create a methodical manual for teachers and a file of worksheets for pupils at the second stage of basic education (lower secondary education). These worksheets are to be used in the field teaching as a part of the educational trail "Okolím Kácova" in biology and geography lessons.
The theme landscape orientation on the primary school using fieldwork

This diploma thesis deals with the ability of children of younger school age to orient themselves in the landscape. Its goal is to create specific proposals for working with children of younger school age, which systematically develop the children's necessary skills based on researched starting points. Therefore, the work first focuses on the theoretical starting points of geography didactics. These are then followed by topics for activities with children. Here is a summary of the way of working, which we have conceived as suitable for the development of orientation and map skills. We also focus on spatial orientation within the valid Czech curriculum and analysis of textbooks that are used for teaching national history topics in the 1st grade of primary schools. The following is a summary of the psychological starting points for teaching orientation to children of younger school age, because this period is specific in the perception of the surrounding world and it is important to appropriately follow up on these specifics. Field education and practical experiments in meteorology and climatology within geography Abstract By means of my theasis I have tried to prove that there are some experiments and activities for field education we can use to support geographical lessons focused on meteorology and climatology. First I describe the advantages and disadvantages of different organizing forms for the education. Next I mention the main benefits of field education, its structure and goals and I also remind its placement in RVP ZV and RVP G. In the next chapture I try to show differences between demonstration teaching and practical students work which are the kinds of methods using in practical experiments. The methods, which are used during teaching, are up to the schools according to their curiculum. In the last theoretical part I prove the meteorology and climatology education at schools is part of geographical education, especially in the first and fifth grade of 8 years grammar school or in the first grade of four year grammar school. The objective of this bachelor´s thesis is to present an importance of environmental education and awareness, and his inclusion in the current concept of preschool education. The thesis responds to the timelines and urgency of environmental protection. The work includes long-term educational project, which is divided into five program blocks. It allows children to gain their own experience of nature, develops knowledge about themselves and other people. There are the games included a form field of education, where the easiest way to create the necessary views, attitudes and inclinations to protect and improve the environment.
Application of forestal pedagogy in the didactic programme "Treetop trail"

The Bachalor thesis introduces a didactic programme which provides elementary school teachers to fulfil aims of selected educational fields of the General educational programme through field schooling and develop pupils´ key competencies of elementary education. Lower elementary school pupils are the target group of the programme.. Forestal pedagogy represents an instrument to fulfil the aims of the programme. The thesis provides information about the environment which the programme is set in, deals with the job of a forestal educator, forestal pedagogy in the Czech Republic, its methods and aims. The work describes relations between the General educational programme, forestal pedagogy and the didactic programme. Primarily, the thesis describes a structure of the didactic programme and all its elements in detail, and specifies methodology of all participating subjects of the programme in a clear way.
