Visual Home Security System for iOS-Based Mobile Devices
Bajaník, Filip ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design and implement a mobile application for home security system on the iOS platform. The application introduces a complex solution allowing the transmission of the audio and video streams between the paired mobile devices using WebRTC. The final module represents universal solution for peer-to-peer audio and video communication. The thesis also deals with the field of computer vision, namely efficient motion detection algorithms. The module for motion detection implements ViBe algorithm using Metal. In case that the motion is detected the application notifies a user with a push notification. Synchronization of application data is implemented using Cloudkit and the data persistance using Realm library.
Processing and Streaming Video in Browser for Screen Recording
Svačina, Lukáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Aim of the thesis is to design and implement unique service based on the newest technologies in web apps fi eld which allows screen recording followed by P2P distribution between participating users using web browser only. Thesis deals with the analysis of modern and coming technologies which allow practical implementation of such a service. It involves obtaining access to the screen source data, its recording, transforming and transmission over the network followed by playing on the other side. Recorded videos are adapted for part by part use in a player with seeking capability. Distributed architecture for data exchange between peers using peer-to-peer connection based on hybrid P2P VoD network provides scalability of the solution. The player allows obtaining the necessary parts of the videos from the current watchers with smooth video playback experience during ongoing transmissions whilst allowing arbitrary video shifting. In consideration of early stages of development or experimental support for some of the APIs needed for this work, research into browsers' support with discussion on realistic applicability nowadays is always performed.

Online conference system based on HTML5
DUŠEK, Jiří
HTML5 technologies allow access to data provided by a webcam or microphone within a web browser. This thesis deals with the use of such technical means for their transmission through the Internet in a web browser environment in real time. The base of bachelor thesis is analysis of current web-based conference systems. In this analysis, their parameters will be ascertained as well as the technologies used for the transmission of multimedia data. Obtained information will be used to create a design of conference system. In connection with this issue follows a detailed analysis of the possibilities of HTML5 technologies for transmitting audio and video between client devices in real time. In the practical part of the thesis will be created on the basis of the analysis a prototype online conference system based on HTML5 technologies. The system will allow the creation of conference rooms that will provide audiovisual communication and an online chat between participants of the room. Creating the system includes the design, implementation, subsequent deployment and testing. It will be created with regard to the accessibility of mobile devices.
