Material flow concept of a production line supply

The content of this thesis is a research analysis of individual concepts in the field of corporate logistics with an emphasis on intra-company transport. In the practical part, the current state of the production line loading is evaluated and new variants of line supply are made on the of the given parameters. The work also includes the creation of simulation models of all variants in the Plant Simulation program and conclusions are drawn based on the data obtained.

Design of material handling between the planned interimwarehouse and welding shops using dynamic simulation

This master thesis deals with optimizing material and information flow between the production plants and warehouses during the reconstruction of the manufacturing plant of Schäfer in Hranice na Moravě. At first, a theoretical introduction to the issues of inter-company transport services is presented. This introduction is followed by an analysis of the current state of material and information flow at the manufacturing plant. The practical part of the thesis consists of a simulation model made in the Tecnomatix plant simulation program. This simulation model includes the plant's current and future states and a layout of future material flow between the welding shops and warehouses. It also contains a conceptual design of the material flow. The optimization is conducted using a matrix of experiments, which are subsequently evaluated. In the end, the most optimal solution for material and information flow is developed and suggested.

The aim is to draft changes in the information system of conflict resolution department orders. The changes are geared to enhancing the effectiveness of staff members and increase customer satisfaction.

This thesis deals with The Study of Productions Operation Management in the B:Tech company a.s., namely company’s divison Engineering production. This work analyses a contemporary flow of information and material in production and on the basis of this analysis it eliminates detected defects. The particular concept of data acquisition is involved in the thesis. The acquired contributions are illustrated in the conrete manufacturing order. In conlusion the overall contributions of suggested solutions are evaluated.

Comparison of material supply concepts using computer simulation

The aim of the diploma thesis is to design of a new concept of material handling from the automatic warehouse to the manufacturing area and comparison with the original concept using computer simulation. The simulation model is created in Plant Simulation software from PLM Software. Part of the thesis is to compile a matric of experiments and perform simulation experiments in order to compare both concepts.

The theoretical part explains the individual concepts of logistics. The analysis of the current situation of a selected company describes the current order processing, activities that affect order processing and how these activities contribute to the order realization. There are solution proposals in the field of information and material flows as a part of this thesis. These proposals contribute to streamline the course of the order management by the company.

This thesis deals with the analysis and design changes to a specific company information system under real conditions, and is therefore more practically oriented. The information system is studied both from the perspective of the end user, which is the focus, and in terms of operation and implementation of program solutions. The information system is studied as a whole in a broader context, not only in terms of applications (software), but also in terms of the flow of information, storage and organization of data, users, security, hardware, etc. It should serve to the company as a guide for the elimination of inefficient and / or risk areas, thereby helping to improve work productivity and employee satisfaction.

This thesis studies the operational management of production, particularly the divison of plastic mill. The study analyses current state of operational management of production and especially focus on physical and information flow. Based on the results of the analysis, study eliminates discovered defects. For that reason, design part is focused on optimization of informational flow by introduction of modular manufacturing information system. At the end of the thesis are presented benefits of mentioned solution and economic evaluation for the proposed options.

It deals with an order management in ABC company which is focused on construction and service of telecommunication networks. The first part is focused on theoretical background which are crucial for understanding to bussines process management. The analysis of current situation describes how the ordes is managed nowday. The thesis also contains suggestions how to solve determinated problems. This may lead to obtaining of new orders, increasing of satisfaction of customers, and increasing of competititvness of the company.

The theoretical part defines basic concepts of selected problematics. The analytical part of the work describes the company where the thesis is processed. The practical part deals with selected indicators of the company and describes the current state of the problem. The proposal part defines possible solutions and selects the best option for the material flow management.
