Bluetooth Vibrating Ringer
Dočekal, David ; Dušek, Martin (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the implementation of Bluetooth communication between a mobile phone and an external device. The first chapter focuses on Bluetooth technology in general. It describes the interface, device classes according to RF power, Bluetooth versions, security and pairing options. The second chapter of the Bachelor’s thesis deals with the Bluetooth module called HC-05. It describes the basic features and practical, module usage. It also shows the concept of the Bluetooth unit and describes the adjusting of certain parameters of the HC-05 module using the AT commands. The third chapter summarizes the deign and implementation of the device. Software and firmware development is overviewed in the fourth chapter. The testing and measurement results of the complete device are presented in the last part of this thesis.
Remote-controlled cross-country four-wheeler
Kejzlar, Radim ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the complete design and implementation of an RC vehicle controlled by a smart device with the OS Android using Bluetooth communication. The RC four-wheeler is designed in accordance with the requirements of the BUT FEKT interactive gaming room, where this vehicle is intended. The work deals with the electrical, the program and mechanical part. The electrical part includes a complete selection and description of the drive, implemented using a BLDC motor and its controller. The controller is controlled by a control unit in the form of a microcontroller from the AVR family, which also processes the received data from Bluetooth communication. The design also includes a suitable selection of the Li-Pol technology battery and its capacity. The program part deals with the development of an application for the Android OS using the Mit App Inventor 2 development platform, and in the mechanical part the chassis used for the RC four-wheeler and the design solution of the entire design are discussed.
Wireless Control of Electronic Devices Using Mobile/Embedded Device
Hekrdla, Lukáš ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the design of a system that communicates with a mobile phone using Bluetooth technology and is primarily used to send notifications of incoming calls and SMS messages. The system consists of an LCD display on which alerts are displayed, a bluetooth module that provides communication between the display and the mobile phone and a mobile application that controls everything. The resulting system was verified to perform these functions.
Educational Tutorial for Smartphone Robot Control
Turek, Matej ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes making of tutorials to control robot based on platform Arduino Mega 2560 with smartphone based on operating system Android. Robot does have sensors that sends information about its state. Communication is created with Bluetooth module HC-05 that allows that to exchange data. Then smartphone process the data and send instructions to the robot. The types of tutorials differs in difficulty and there is prepared unfinished program which tutorials complete. Program is written in Java. Tutorials could be used for teaching purpose with minimal, slightly advanced and advanced experience with programming.
Remote-Controlled Cross-Countryfour-Wheeler
Kejzlar, Radim
The thesis deals with a complete design of a remote controlled cross-country fourwheeler for FEEC BUT „Elektrikarium“. Vehicle can be controlled using the Android smart phone app. The vehicle uses a BLDC motor with a regulator and control unit in the form of a microcontroller from the AVR family. The thesis describes the selection of components and the actual solution of communication between the HC-05 module, application and microcontroller with regulator. Part of the thesis is also a practical demonstration of the model.
