Measure antennas for GSM and Wi-Fi bands
Hurt, Martin ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mikulášek, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of the measure antennas for GSM900, GSM1800 and Wi-Fi bands. In the first step, the work is focused on the design of two antennas for GSM900/GSM1800 bands and for Wi-Fi band in the CST Microwave Studio. In the second step, both antennas are fabricated and validated by the measurements. The measured results of the realized antennas are affected by asymmetric currents. In the work, the possibilities of the eliminating of the currents are discussed in detail.
Dielectric resonator antenna
Štarha, Michal ; Pokorný, Michal (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This project deals with using of dielectric resonators as antennas. There are discussed possibilities feed of these antennas, as feed probe, feed of microstrip line, aperture coupling, or coplanar waveguide. Then there is a simple example design dielectric resonator antenna and its modeling in CST Microwave Studio. The designed antenna is fabricated and measured.
Broadband dielectric resonator antennas
Zbořil, Jan ; Polívka, Milan (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
The diploma project deals with the numerical modeling, implementation and measurement of dielectric dipoles excited by a coaxial probe. Attention was turned to shape optimization of dipoles from the viewpoint of ultra wideband parameters in the band group 6. (“Bandgroup 6“). Two antennas exhibiting the best parameters were fabricated. Results of measurements were compared with simulation results. Simulations and measurements were in agreement. For the simulations, we use program CST Microwave Studio.
Textile waveguide
Pelikán, Michal ; Schejbal, Vladimír (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on manufacturing process of waveguide filter. Thesis is divided to 8 chapters. There is summarized theory of possible execution of waveguide filter, used materials, their influence and risks during production. Then are described possible steps of realization and necessary relations for its design, simulation and also practical realization. At conclusion are summarized, compared and described reached results.
Planar antenna array for receiving the digital tv signal
Havelka, Michal ; Hertl, Ivo (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals in first part with the design of a single antenna element of an antenna array for receiving the digital TV. The resonant frequency of the antenna is 4.7 GHz, the antenna operates in the frequency band 4.4 to 5.0 GHz. Properties of the antenna are verified in programs CST Microwave Studio and Ansoft Designer. The final antenna element is experimentally produced. The second part is devoted to microstrip divider, 2x2 elements antenna array and 4x4 elements antenna array. The antenna array 4x4 elements was produced and its properties were measured.
Dual band antenna with parallel resonant circuit
Vítek, Jiří ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with multiband wire antennas for VHF and UHF amateur bands and with a design of the antenna in program 4NEC, which uses a parallel resonant circuits to reach resonance at the given frequencies 145 MHz and 432 MHz. The proper function of the antenna is verified by simulation in CST Microwave Studio. This antenna is also realized after the successful simulation like a prototype and its parameters are measured
Wideband low-profile circularly polarized antenna array
Benites Ayala, Jhony Cristian ; Cupal, Miroslav (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the study of a novel type of wideband low-profile circular array antenna with circular polarization and high gain. The aim of this thesis is to design, optimize and implement the proposed antenna for a 5.5 - 7 GHz frequency band. The thesis deals with theoretical fundamentals in order to subsequently present the concept of the antenna. Furthermore, it describes its design and implementation stages. The antenna was designed in the full-wave program CST Microwave Studio and fabricated on dielectric substrate. Both simulated and measured property results are evaluated in the conclusion.
Antenna for universal transmitter
Daněk, Jan ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work describes an electrically small antennas used for mobile devices in the ISM band. The aim of this work is to select an antenna for a universal transmitter/receiver working in the 868 MHz band. The work contains description of the universal transmitter/receiver, and a list of suitable antennas. Tolerance analysis is performed by numerical model. The proposed antenna is manufactured and measured.
Cascade Sierpinski monopole
Kadlček, Jiří ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Všetula, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes the theoretical analysis of the Sierpinski triangle structure. On the basis of this structure, a planar version of the Sierpinski monopole is firstly designed. Then, by using a transfer of the planar motive to the conical surface, conical and cascade Sierpinski monopoles are designed. All simulations are calculated by CST Microwave Studio 2011. In the thesis, four types of cascade Sierpinski monopole are proposed. The investigated parameters are reflection coefficient, input impedance, radiation properties, polarization and bandwidth. The attention is primarily focused on the design and experimental verification of the selected conical shape cascade Sierpinski monopole set on the bands GSM 900, GSM 1800 and Wi-fi 2,4 GHz.
Loop antennas for medical applications
Zejda, Luboš ; Puskely, Jan (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design of loop antennas for medical applications. The main goal of this thesis is to verify the functionality of published designs of broadband loop antennas, and to compare them with each other. Compared antennas are modified for available substrate and a specified frequency. Antenna with best parameters is selected, manufactured and its characteristics are compared with simulations. Design and simulation software used is CST Microwave Studio.
