The number of non-governmental organizations in the Czech Republic is still growing, therefore this thesis focuses on the process analysis of one of them, a student association AIESEC Brno. Through its areas, AIESEC Brno offers several products to its market, such as foreign internships and projects focused on business and sustainability education. Based on the individual analyses, the competitiveness, the ability to meet the needs of the customer, the financial situation, and the growth and strategy of each area of this organization were evaluated to identify the main risks and subsequent recommendations for the organization. Through questionnaire surveys, it was found out that clients are very satisfied with the services of AIESEC Brno. Furthermore, the individual analyses showed that the most successful area with great potential is Local Projects. Based on the results from both the BCG matrix and the service analysis, the area of Outgoing Global Exchanges is a stable area which brings constant profits despite facing a lot of competition. The Incoming Global Talent area has stopped generating profits due to a lack of innovation in approaching companies and market changes.

Based on document analysis followed by interviews with contemporary and former members of AIESEC, competencies of an ideal member of the organisation have been identified. Consequently, a competency model has been created. Model situations and event schedule have been prepared and evaluators have been trained for the assessment centre. The design of the assessment centre has then been tested during 7 sessions on total 41 participants - 12 men and 29 women, in the age from 19 to 24. During realization of the assessment centre, its concurrent validity with the NEO-PI-R inventory have been measured. Moderate correlations have been found, however, it has not been recommended to replace the assessment centre with this method. The designed model of the assessment centre has been discussed considering future utilization by the organisation, and limitations and recommendations have been defined.
