Comprehensive urban analysis of selected public space

This bachelor thesis deals with spatial planning and public spaces. The first part is focused on the historical development of the town of Hodonín and general spatial planning. The spatial planning problematics are defined by the Act of 183/2006 Coll., on the town and country planning and building code (Building Act). In the next part, the work deals with the basic public space terminology and describes its types and elements determining its quality. The practical part of this thesis is dedicated to the functional and spatial analysis of the selected public space in the town of Hodonín, and its planning documentation. From the analysis performed, the strengths and weaknesses of this public space are defined.
General barrier-free routes in the Bohunice

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of the General of barrier-free routes in the Brno Bohunice district in the city of Brno. The theoretical part is focused on the accessibility of buildings in the Czech Republic, which is dealt with by Decree No. 398/2009 Coll., on general technical requirements ensuring barrier-free use of buildings, especially on requirements for barrier-free use of roads and public space. In the practical part of the work, it evaluates the barrier-free accessibility of three selected routes in the given city district, which connect important objects of civic amenities, and proposes their modification in accordance with the decree.

Contentious issues of necessary defence in judicial practise

Contentious issues of necessary defence in judicial practise The subject of this thesis is necessary defence in Czech criminal law. Necessary defence is defined as an action which is usually considered illegal but because it is made in defence against an imminent or persistent attack on values protected by criminal law, it is not considered a crime. The law also states that the intensity of this defence cannot be clearly and obviously disproportionate to the form of the attack. This thesis focuses primarily on contentious issues that courts often deal with when they interpret and apply necessary defence in real cases. Before focusing on contentious issues this thesis first describes the basics of necessary defence. Since necessary defence is one of the circumstances excluding liability in Czech criminal law, this thesis first briefly describes these circumstances. In the next section the thesis focuses on the conditions and limits of necessary defence as they are defined in criminal law. Necessary defence is comprised of an attack and a corresponding defensive action. This section first focuses on the obligatory attributes of the attack and then on the conditions of the defence.
