Performance of Real Estate Activities
Zejda, Jiří ; Vyhňáková, Michaela (referee) ; Telec, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis illustrates the real estate environment from a professional and legal perspective. The first part of this thesis will refer to the legislative components and organizations, which affect the development of laws related to the industry. Then, the real estate market will be defined from two angles - a broker's and the competitors, as well as illustrating the differences in the Czech and Slovak markets. A case study will show the process of two property sales. In the first, a family house is sold under normal conditions and in the second, an apartment building is sold under shared ownership. The final segment of the thesis will summarize a research, which was focused on service quality in the Czech and Slovak real estate brokerage markets.

Methodology to rodent bark damage assessment on forest regeneration
Homolka, Miloslav ; Zejda, Jan ; Heroldová, Marta ; Kamler, Jiří
This methodology provides us with instructions, how to estimate extent of bark damage by gnawing caused by rodents on forest plantings based on a simple criterions. Data obtained may be used for objective assessment of rodent origin tree damage extent and its total value calculation. Exact data on tree damage can be used as a back coupling for damage prevention effectiveness. Relation between the rodent damage prevention costs and damaged area replanting costs may be retrospectively considered.
Methodology to rodent species density monitoring in forest environment
Homolka, Miloslav ; Zejda, Jan ; Heroldová, Marta ; Kamler, Jiří
This methodology provides us with instruction how to monitor rodent densities in forest environment and is concentrated on the species causing damage to broad-leaved forest plantings. Principle presumption for effective plantings protection control is to know rodent’s population density. Basic ecological informations about the target species are also included. This methodology book contribute to better understanding of young tree damage origin in broader connections and contribute to more effective input on damage prevention. Methodology is addressed above all to forest practices workers.
Rodents as a forest pest species
Heroldová, Marta ; Suchomel, J. ; Zejda, J. ; Obdržálková, D. ; Zapletal, M.
Dynamic of rodents species in forest as well as in the fields was evaluated. Impact of rodent species on forest or orchard young trees was found to be in positive correlation with their density. Individual species of rodents and their foraging ecology in relationship to impact on forest regeneration was discussed. In case of common vole strong impact on orchard trees in case of high population densities and long and snowy winters was stated. Importance of long time monitoring with possibility to predict rodents gradation was stressed on.
Abundance of common vole in Southern Moravia district and some other districts of the Czech Republic in the summer, after-harvest period (from 3.7. to 4.9.2001) in relation to the forest stands
Zapletal, M. ; Obdržálková, D. ; Pikula, J. ; Zejda, J. ; Pikula ml., J. ; Beklová, M. ; Heroldová, Marta
This contribution is the summarized information on the common vole abundance of Southern Moravia district in the after harvest period in relation to the forest stands. Individual areas are evaluated in relationship to the crop plants, altitude and by the identification points with the identical ecological conditions.
