Hiding Moving Objects in Video Sequences
Dostál, Martin ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Hiding moving objects in video sequences is an interesting topic in computer vision. In this thesis, a real-time single object tracking and removal method is proposed. An input video is assumed to be captured with static video camera. Motion detection is based on a background subtraction using Mixture of Gaussians as the representation of background. The object tracking is realized by a combination of blobs comparison and computation of optical flow using Lucas-Kanade method. Consequent object removal makes use of created background model.
Object Detection Using Kinect
Švec, Ján ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the object detection using Kinect. Kinect is a motion sensing input device by Microsoft company for the Xbox 360 video game console. The objective of this work was to evaluate the existing approaches and practices for the detection not only using the image from the camera but also depth map (RGB-D sensor). The work deals in details with RoboEarth tool, its installation, settings, creation of 3D model and the detection. Performance of the RoboEarth tool was in the work investigated experimentally and also evaluated.
E-Shop and CMS with universal data model
Svoboda, Roman ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The content of this bachelor's thesis is analysis and design of e-shop and content management system which is using universal data model of relational databases. Part of the thesis is focused on problematics of general universal data model. The following sections are focused on design of specific universal data model and design of other parts of the system. The work verified the applicability of such a model for e-shop and content management system and also verified customers interest in this type of system.
Photo Explorer with Leap Motion
Sanitrák, Michal ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zahrádka, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design and create photo explorer application, which can be controlled by hand gestures using the Leap Motion sensor. Application was implemented in Java programming language using the JavaFX platform. Photo explorer has a clear user interface and can be controlled with hand gestures. The application is multiplatform and can be run on Linux and Windows.
Non-Realistic Video Rendering
Širůček, Pavel ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals a with ways of non-realistic view of video. There are summarized video processing techniques in this document. The main focus is in painting techniques and video processing with these techniques. Individual operations and image-processing methods, to ensure coherence between video frames, are also mentioned here. The application for video processing, using the OpenCV library, is the part of the thesis.
Data Projector Drawing with Leap Motion
Cilip, Peter ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zahrádka, Jiří (advisor)
Purpose of this bachelor´s thesis is to design interface for application, that is using projector and sensor leap motion. Application is divided to 2 applications, calibration and drawing. Designed interface should be implemented in one of optional programming languages. Thesis is focused on calibration and calibration methods used in computer vision and drawing application. The result of work is multiplatform application written in C++ programming language and Qt library, that uses leap motion and projector to draw.
Parametric Geometry 3D Sketch Tool
Vala, Jan ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Purpose of this thesis is to introduce reader to 3D parametric construction tools and their application with dynamic geometry. Project introduces basic concepts of parametric construction in computer geometry, summary of the state of the art, description of selected parametric geometry software, evaluation of its features and design of 3D parametric geometry library for use in computer graphics followed by implementation of said library and user interface application for evaluation.
Image Object Rcognition Using Android Platform
Šimon, Martin ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes an object recognition issue in connection with the Android mobile platform. It analyzes existing methods and procedures from the field of the object recognition as well as previous solutions of a similar topic. It builds on these basics and proposes a handy application which aspires to become a powerful assistant during mushroom picking. It considers the target device, which is memory and power limited, during the design and implementation phase. The results are evaluated by several experiments including an user experience. The implementation of the application itself is a part of this thesis.
Virtual Keyboard Using Leap Motion
Mejía, Santiago ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with finding the most suitable method for text entry using the Leap Motion sensor. The test environment serves to try out different methods. The test environment contains two methods for text entry using the Leap Motion sensor and one solution using the mouse, which is used for comparison. A sample text is used for verification. After the test is done the test environment evaluates it and saves the results. The tests have confirmed, that both used methods after proper training are suitable for text entry.
Game Interface with Data Projector and Leap Motion
Holcner, Jonáš ; Najman, Pavel (referee) ; Zahrádka, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this paper is to develop a gaming user interface and a game itself using potential of the Leap Motion Controller in combination with projected image of a projector. This interface requires a projector calibration for user to be able to interact with the image. The calibration enables translation of points between coordinate spaces of Leap Motion and projector. Combined with data from Leap Motion, this allows user to interact with applications and games only by hands within the projected image. The solution contains a projector and a Leap Motion located over a table looking at the table desk. Leap Motion is used to track hand motions above the table. The capabilities of the proposed interface are demonstrated on a computer game, which was developed in Unity 3D engine.
