Nečadová, Karolína ; Pýcha, Čeněk (advisor) ; Wanča, Nina (referee)
(in English): This thesis examines how the form of testing and assessment affects teaching and learning strategies. The thesis first introduces the basic concepts associated with e-learning. First, the phenomenon of micro-courses and micro-certificates is introduced. Then, the concept of e- learning itself and associated concepts such as m-learning and blended learning are described. Next, attention is paid to the description of massively open online courses, and the difference between cMOOCs and xMOOCs. Learning Management Systems and their open-source variant, Moodle, which is used within this thesis, are also briefly introduced. Selected models used for e-learning design are also described: the 4D model, ADDIE, and ASSURE. The section that deals with formative and summative assessment first briefly introduces summative assessment, and then formative assessment in more detail, its possible uses, its limitations, and its specificities in the online space. Čápová, Lada ; Wanča, Nina (advisor) ; Slussareff, Michaela (referee)
(in English) This thesis explores the importance and implementation of critical thinking, creativity and complex problem solving skills in the modern educational process, which is particularly relevant in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence. The thesis highlights the need to move away from the traditional model of teaching, which emphasises the transmission of ready-made knowledge, to teaching based on constructivist theory. The thesis draws on the ideas and research of key figures in education and technology, including Vygotsky, Papert, Dede and Jörg. It emphasises the importance of students' personal and skills development, including the development of skills needed in the information society. It focuses on exploring teaching methods using Design Thinking (DT) to enable students to approach learning creatively and responsibly. In four main chapters, the thesis presents a brief development and definition of DT, conducts a systematic review, describes its own research design, and provides a summary of key findings and recommendations for future practice and research.
Identifying user needs for teachers visiting museum websites
Holý, Mikuláš ; Wanča, Nina (advisor) ; Pýcha, Čeněk (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the user needs of teachers visiting museum websites. The thesis explores the current relationship of teachers to museum and gallery websites. The theoretical part focuses on the collaboration between museums and schools, the presentation of museums on the web and the current state of knowledge in this area. The practical part of the thesis consists of a quantitative survey in the form of an online questionnaire and analysis of the obtained results. The questions focus on the independent importance of websites for teachers and the content of websites that would enhance this importance. The research shows that teachers perceive museum websites, they are aware of their benefits and they are willing to use the online content the museum websites offer. However, they lack the necessary information about the events posted and about the use of online content, resulting in a preference for other communication channels. Therefore, museums and galleries do not need to change the whole concept of their websites, they just need to provide more relevant information about field trips and better inform teachers how to use the online materials offered.
