Title: Comparison of performance in test of skating with and without the puck among the Extraleague U16 competition defensemen and forwards Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to compare basic ice hockey skills of defensemen and forwards in a skating test carried out with and without the puck. We would like to analyze the data we receive, draw conclusions about the skills of players and come up with practice recommendations for defensemen and forwards. Methods: The diploma thesis was written from a methodological point of view based on experiment, which resulted in a comparative analysis by using different statistical methods. The testing was done on ice hockey stadiums of HC Hvězda Praha, HC Slavia Praha and HC Letci Letňany. The tested group of ice hockey players came from HC Hvězda Praha, HC Slavia Praha and HC Letci Letňany who play in the Extraleague U16 competition. Results: From the results and comparison of average performances of the U16 players we can conclude that the defensemen did not dominate over the forwards in backward skating, tests carried out with the puck. The difference performances of backward skating without the puck was 0,12sec (in favor of the forwards) and in backward skating with the puck 0,69sec (in favor of the forwards). Title: Conditional abilities of Czech ice hockey players in NHL according to the anaerobic Wingate test Aims: The aim of this thesis was to find out and evaluate the level of anaerobic readiness of selected Czech forwards and defenders playing in NHL between 2001/2002 and 2015/2016 seasons. The evaluation was based on comparison of the results in Wingate test of the research groups and specified standards of the first league (ELH) players. The other purpose was to find out whether there are differences between the results of the forwards and defenders. Methods: There were used the research methods of quantitative analysis including effect size. Research sample consists of the group of 26 forwards (mean age = 20.5 ± 4.4) and the group of 16 defenders (mean age = 23.2 ± 4.5) who have played in NHL. Results of the main parameters, i.e. peak power output, peak power relative to 1 kg of body mass, anaerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity relative to 1 kg of body mass, of the 30 s anaerobic Wingate were used. Comparison of the operation of selected ice stadiums in Prague.

Title: Comparison of the operation of selected ice stadiums in Prague. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare selected ice stadiums to each others by using analysis. Furthrmore, the thesis should show the opportunities and threats of teh selected ice stadiums. Methods: The case analysis was chosen as the main research method. In the preparation of this analysis other methods, such as intentional selection, document analysis and semi-structured interview were applied. Based on the results the SWOT analysis was developed. Through this method the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the selected ice stadiums. SLEPT analysis was used to recognize factors, that affects selected ice stadiums. Results: The analysis shows that every single ice stadium is able to assure enough clients. Some cooperate with nearby schools, others are linked with ice hockey club. Three of selected ice stadiums are able to make profit, two are able not to lose money and two were not willing to provide their econimic information. It was also recognized, that there is a huge need to reconstruct some parts in almost every single ice stadium. We could also see that it is important to reach some money from grants. Virtual reality as a mean of diagnosis of the game sense in ice hockey

Title: Virtual reality as a mean of diagnosis of the game intelligence in ice hockey. Goal: The goal of this work is to find out whether it is possible to evaluate virtual reality through the "game intelligence". Further on, to evaluate if different proband levels do affect the level of the "game intelligence". Methodology: File for research: Our goal is to test five different groups of various performance levels and evaluate the extent of change in game intelligence among respected groups. In each of the group we are evaluating 34 to 74 probands. In total, 252 people were tested. Statistic methods: Basic descriptive statistics, MANOVA analysis, correlation analysis, canonical correlation Conclusion: Our research could be of great benefit to the sports community. We believe that the results of our research will appeal to clubs that have doubts about the positive contribution of virtual reality to ice hockey. Title: Game sense analysis in ice hockey Goal: Find out, what "game sense" means for group of ice hockey experts and then compare results with findings in publications. Methodology Research group Research group consisted of five ice hockey experts. The selection criteria were as follows: Variant 1 Successful completation of coaching licence "A" At least five years of coaching experience in any of these categories: Extraliga Ledního hokeje ČR, Youth national team, Czech U17 or Czech U20 teams Variant 2 Playing experience in NHL or Czech National team Successful completation of coaching licence "B" Data collection method Qualitative research, interview with experts Conclusion Finding acquired from interviews with experts can provide for further deeper analysis of the term "Game sense" than finding that can be acquired from literature. Every statement is product of years of acquired knowledge and experience, therefore I believe, that this thesis can help reader find out more information about game sense and possibilities of its development. Analysis and possibilities of training of selected offensive individual hockey skill in ice hockey in youth categories

Title: Analysis and possibilities of training of selected offensive individual hockey skill in ice hockey in youth categories Objectives: The first objective was to define the nodal points of the execution of a given movement of a selected offensive individual hockey skill, namely, protecting the puck in ice hockey. The second objective of this thesis was to create skill acqusition program of training of the offensive individual hockey skill of protecting the puck for individual youth category. Methods: The indirect observation method of video was used to obtain the data. A binary yes / no system was used to evaluate the results. Results: The thesis was divided into two parts. The first part was to determine the nodal points of the execution of the selected offensive individual hockey skill protecting the puck in ice hockey using video analysis. A total of nine videos were selected for the video analysis. Three of them contained successful situations of protecting the puck with the body in space, three successful situations of protecting the puck with the body in personal contact and three successful situations of protecting the puck near the boards. The notation analyses of goals during ice-hockey word championship 2021 in U20 category

Objectives: The ai m of this diploma thesis is to analy s e goals scored in WJC 2021 and comparison countrie s . The second aim is to detect the biggest demerits of czech hockey from scoring view point w ith the help of this facts and inspire other coaches to more intensive work a greed with wold trend in this topic and the aim to return czech hockey to the best hockey countries group. Methods: The research was carried out by indirect observations 28 matches and 176 scoring situations through video records from WJC 21. The subject of research were 10 teams, that selected 88 scorers. Scoring situations were qualitative analyse. Gained findings have been written down into chart and were quantitative analyse. Results: The outcome of analyse is the most used scoring place Low slot - 0 - 10ft in front of the goal and with the most used location of successfull shot - middle of the goal on the ice or close over the ice creates the most used way to score. From w rist shot - forehand side came the most of goals in WJC 21. Analyse proved demerits o f Czech national team U20 in scoring by tip - in and rebound. Title: Compensatory exercises in ice hockey Objective: The aim of this diploma thesis is to create battery of compensatory exercises suitable for ice hockey. Methodology: It was used scientific method of observation - theoretical-empirical character. The results were measured by pre-intervention and post- intervation measurements. The results were compared with using a Cohen's coefficient d, an arithmetic mean and a percent. Results: We have created the battery of comepnsatory exercises suitable for ice hockey players. This battery was created by studying the literature, consulting with coaches and physiotherapists and from personal experience. We were found differences in all tests compering pre- intervention and post-intervation measurements, which indicate a tendency to qualitative shift.
